Agility exercises for dogs under 12 months

- Agility is quite a strenuous activity for dogs and certainly not appropriate for very young dogs with growing bones. However, if you want to do agility with your dog, especially if you want to compete, there are non-strenuous exercises you can do with him in preparation for adult training before they reach 12 months old.
In this video, Marianne Tembey from Patchwork Training demonstrates some of these exercises and explains what each is for. She also gives some helpful advice on which exercises would be appropriate for what ages of your puppy.

Love Mary’s face so much expression, thank you for these exercises, always good to add new things in. Been doing a lot of various exercises with my girl since she was 8 weeks. Been training with dogs for 40 yrs and love to add anything new into my training.
Brilliant!
I love how when you started talking about getting them on their rear end, a horse walked past. I can just imagine them saying, "Hear that? You got to get OFF the forehand!"
That was so neat! Thank you!
thank you , very helpful information
Have a beautiful working Curl Back Border collie out of Scotland breeding. 9 months. She shows ALL signs of herding ability. We have nothing for her to herd :(. Want to build her an obstacle course to keep her sharp mind active. LOVE how you teach! Small, simple steps to help them. I will use the Come-by and Away commands for her turns though :)- already knows them. thank you SO much - wonderfully done!
i have a 7 month old puppy and this is awesome. I do try and play between exercises so not to stress him. Thank you.
Nice foundation exercises 🐶🖤🐾
Gracias
Seguro que tú eres uno de esos que le celebra el cumpleaños al perro. ¡JAJAJAJAJA!

what is the command to get them to put their front paws on the book?
You should do agility by yourself. It's called Parkour.
My four month old Mini Schnauzer jumps onto and off of everything, big jumps...often falling flat. Almost imposible to stop him all the time...please help with any advice. Thanks~
I got hired by a circus with a dog act but i need new ideas.
