Anyways, the P018C code requiring fuel pressure sensor replacement is a somewhat common problem with the 2017-2020 Pacifica minivan. The replacement hose/sensor you installed in this video has since been discontinued. The latest part revision (p/n 68421782AA) now also requires replacing the pigtail/connector (p/n 68137864AC) for the older 2017-2018 models. To make matters worse, the new pigtail comes with the wires color coded just like the old connector, but with the pins in the wrong order. If you just cut the old connector off, and splice the like wire colors together on the new pigtail (like most people would do), you need to rearrange the pins in the new connector. DTC P018D will be triggered after replacing the sensor if the wiring isn't correctly modified on 2017-2018 models. Details can be found in STAR case S2014000001.
Yeah ,I was lucky to find the discountinued part at a local dealership. Do you know if the old part will still do the same thing eventually? Best of luck .
@@brianobrian9334 There's always a chance, but there are many vans that haven't had any trouble with them. The older [discontinued] part number is 52030445AA, and is only compatible with 2017-2018 models.

Just got my 2017 Pacifica back from the dealer service to fix the P018C error. 68421782-AA tube fuel and 68137864-AC wiring kit. Both around $68 each. Installation was another $630! No more error, but now the inside of my van smells like gas. I need to take it back to check the gas odor. I have 55000 miles.

So I have the same problem same car. But when ever I try looking for the sensor it’s discontinued. So now there is a new sensor and a new connector that you need to wire in my question is how to wire the new connector? Some one on a form said he just matched the colors of the wire but the it threw a high circuit code.
Hi, your videos are very informative and helpful, thanks for uploading them! I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.6L pentastar engine. I recently had the check engine light on and diagnosed code P0158, O2 sensors 2/1 and 2/2 high voltage. I replaced all the O2 sensors and still getting the same message. Then I had an electrician check the wiring and he said all seems fine, no shorts. I don’t know what else it could be, but I notice that the car lags and stalls when I try to accelerate unless I really floor the pedal. Any suggestions? Would really appreciate your help

Seems like this is an issue along many years of this type of crysler. Some are egv valve issues and 02 sensors. I have this issue to figure out on my 2005 pacifica. Hope its a cheap fix.

Hey question I have the same issue with my 2017 Pacifica it hesitates and jerks I was told the transmission might need to be updated said there could be new software and I now have check engine light Codes are P000D - B Camshaft position slow response bank 2 and second code P0018 - Crankshaft position Camshaft position correlation bank 2 sensor A have you experienced any of these codes on other Pacifica’s?

I have a 1995 Nissan pickup the check engine light comes on in the morning and after the engine warms up it goes off. Then when driving on the highway at 60mph the engine hesitates and the the check engine light comes on. When driving at 60 I am not on a hill the engine hesitates and the check engine light comes on

P0171 on a 2015 charger 3.6l v6. Smells like rotten eggs and rough idle. But sometimes works great so idk 😐

Hey bud, there is no one root cause. Data has to be read for a open circuit maybe. Will your scan tool allow you to view the BCM and HVAC module? Also are you subscribed to the channel?
