Wraught Iron railings on the stairs are very beautifull. Beautifull Balcony. A lot of Antiques left to decay and the Bathroom must have been exquisite. At the top of the house, you could see very far out over the village. This must have been such a magnificant house in it's day. What a pity it has been left to decay. Thank you for showing this castle mansion.💗💗💗👍
Every time You Cover an abandoned Castle / mansion in Italy ….. I wonder if it was the childhood home of my Grandmother and her 13 siblings ( who ended up in different countries ) …… She Never got to go Home …… she described her bedroom as her bed being 2 Steps up on stage / platform - the floors marble - her parents passed and left the home to her - her other brother and sisters had already married ……. She Was In America on Honeymoon when Mussolini took her home - money - businesses …… 1 sister ended up in NY with her - 1 brother in Argentina - 1 brother in Canada - 1 Brother in Germany - 1 brother in Sicila / Sicily ……. ❤
I’m loving this castle! The ceiling lamps were so awesome! My family had kitchen cupboards like the one Jess was looking at but ours had a yellow shelf inside! It was so cool to see that! The big furniture items were normally built inside the home! This is honestly one of my favourite explores to date, thank you Sam and Jess!! Xx
What an absolutely gorgeous place. I could quite see the two of you being lord and lady of the manor. Be nice to think someone might still rescue the house. Much enjoyed, thank you for sharing this lovely place with me. Take care until next time ♥️🇨🇦
What a fabulous place! Thank you both for sharing this wonderful mini castle, spider webs, and giant assed basement boss spider! Phenomenal furniture, loved this explore 😍
dried flowers are hydrangeas. corn dogs plants are cattails. the furniture is so pretty but so damp, the mold has gotten into it, what a shame. It makes you wonder where they went, to just up and leave everything.
Great castle with video. This castle just needed more time to be seen. The furniture.. the history to be known but I loved it the same. TY for sharing!!
I just discovered your channel and I am very impressed, you guys do very good video editing and add a lot of historical context. Better than the history channel.
Love that fireplace ,this room looks good ,loved the stove too, love that bedroom outfit ,those corn dog flowers are cattails, usually grow around ponds ,the round ones look like dried high geraniums, what a nice balcony didn't realize I missed so much ,i was babysitting grandchildren that day ,kept distracting me as usual ,but they are so much fun
Hello Sam and Jess, those dried flowers are called hydrangeas, I keep forgetting what they are called also, and I do have a giant bush of them, lol full bloom in the summer they are at least 9 feet tall. Love watching your explores, keep up the awesome job!
You should revisit that place and have Sam go with in the basement where you saw the spider and the long corridors going both ways. Never got to do that...
Very cool place if you had to would you spend the night in the castle say if it were storming. I have dreams of a house with lots of rooms and stairways , I'm sure this was a great place to live back in its day. stay safe and thanks for sharing ❤❤😘😘
Well damn! At least last week I had an excuse for missing out. No excuse for being absent this week 😢 what a great old creepy place, but with spectacular views!
It is surprising to see that the family just left the house leaving behind everything. It would be great if you should also do some research to find the reason for their disappearance.
That was awesome, loved of course had money restore that place best of group people fix that former glory days has it was. Obviously roof and floors be major tare down but try well some changes but rebuilt rooms like it was keep furniture trims doors even some bathrooms keep character of the castle and rebuild porches and probably uncover the walls mostly brick I’ll show all that.. I’ll probably use it as bed and breakfast rent out for people come enjoy castle some tower sittings.
It is such a wonder of Tuscan architecture! I am heartbroken to see it on this advanced state of decay. I would have closed the shutters from the inside, to deter as many of the vandal wankers as possible. I don't think the openings help the mansion to last longer either.

These types of videos, bring our awareness of our mortality.. even the buildings 😔
Jess is brave!! ❤
Hi Sam and Jess fab place. Believe the flowers are hydrangeas

Such a unique and interesting explore 😊❤👍
Being what is called a castle would they not have has servants and is it possible that the small bedrooms with toilet near by were for them?

That place must have been awesome 😎👍 in its day

There must be some specific reason for them leaving the place in a hurry without even collecting pictures of loved ones.
Yes we know, but what is it ?

So I wonder how many years that pot had been sitting there catching those drips?!?!

Im not bothered with spiders, i would buy this place and do it up and make it a hostel for travellers. Brill stuff.
