I think it was an earth quake that took the house down, along with general decay. By the way, the Italian word francobolli means stamps: casa de francobolli - house of stamps.
I wonder if they weren’t allowed to enter again due to the damage to the building, and had to leave everything behind? If he was still alive he’d be 68 years old. It seems so young still. Who knows? It’s such a shame to se their lovely photos left behind. Thank you Sam and Jess. Sending you lots of love ❤️ ❤❤❤
I absolutely loved this explore, Italy has wonderful old buildings, and many regions in Italy can be jolted by very powerful earthquakes, enough to render it derelict. Very much wine country, their preferred beverage 😄 Thank you so much for bringing us along ❤
Cool explore! The yellow front end (at least) of the vehicle in the brush is a Jeep. You can tell by the headlights and the 7 upright vent slots. Neat find!
So glad you didn’t get crushed ❤. That house was just barely hanging on. Excellent explore, thank you for sharing this with me. Until next time, take care ❤🇨🇦
RED RAVEN; IT SEEMS THAT this house has been in a earth quake. You were right about the cracks on the front side of house. I looked it up an they have had 3 earthquakes close to there. Bless you both.
It might not of been a earthquake it could of just been decay a leak in the roof and the roof joists gave way and all caved or subsidence being on a hill they not built like houses in the uk but crazy loads of things and belongings still there and the mopeds have not been stolen was still a good explore
Earthquakes are far from funny, I've only been in one big one .Even though it was miles away out in a desert town named Landers. Our house swayed from side to side as I staggered down the stairs with my 5 year old daughter, under one arm while gripping the banister with my other hand. I thought we were goners and would fall to our deaths into the cellar . Somehow we made it safely out the front door. I was amazed at the strength I found to carry my daughter, she later told me her feet never touched the ground till we were outside. So far in January 2024 there have been 3 small earthquakes, we wait hoping they are not foreshocks to a bigger one. Our little cottage is totally made of wood and it amazes me that over a 100 years and probably many earthquakes it's still standing with no structural damage. Interesting video thank you for the risks you take 💖💖💖💖
I think it may have been and earthquake just how the cracks are and fallen bricks but who knows... I loved this video very much I love the Italy homes very beautiful... thank you so much for the adventures
Great find guys 😃 i was curious about the pink mould as have never seen it before. It's a bacteria called Serratie Marcescens. It says that it isn't a mould. It's caused by water and dirt. Now that I've bored the pants of you, I'll talk about the rest of the vid 😅 it looks like an earth quake with big cracks like that on the walls 😮 nice old Land Rover and scooter. That place was probably very nice in it's years past 🙂 xx
Loved this ❤You are a pleasure to watch honestly guys what’s not to like !! Please be careful though we don’t want to lose our favourite two in the name of good content …. I’d suggest hats hardhats but I know it’s not your thing 😂🤣😂 Loving Italy and the cutest of Christmas decorations ever in the first village 😘😘Stay safe and keep doing what you’re doing …. Xxxx
Hello when the camera was pointing over the bonnet of the landrover 20:00 there was a purple car or part of there behind them workshops either the son or grandson was messing around with cars etc I reckon. But as per normal another great video from one of the best teams out there in abandoned place docuvideo recorders there is. Thank you Sam and Jess. Xx
I wonder if the house was condemned (or whatever the equivalent to the US version is there) after the earthquake. If so, the owners may not have been allowed back in because it was a safety risk. However, when that happens here, the property is demolished so no one can get in at all.
Not sure of the exact location of that his explore- but there was a 6.5 magnitude earthquake in Italy on 30th October and also an earthquake that preceded this one just 4 days before. And also one in 2015 as well. So this explore could’ve definitely been the victim of any one of if not all of them.
I loved this episode! All the cracks in the walls were quite worrying! An awesome episode I enjoyed looking around what once could have been a fabulous home!! Thanks Sam and Jess! Xx
This was a pretty nice house before earthquake probably ,first time ive seen a dishwasher in an abandon house ,there was a 5.1 earthquake that was miles from my house but I felt aftershocks from it and could hear the rumble in ground before it hit and it shook the lamps and stuff several times i was about to run out of house when it stopped ,but i was shocked at how i felt it as far as it was ,it would be at least Hour or hour and half
If this is in the region of Como (or in very northern Italy), what I presume, then there weren't any big earthquakes in the last decades. My guess is the house fell from some kind of landslip.
Spirit houses. Tiny spirit houses. Built for tiny spirits, elves, to actually inhabit, literally. Spooky. A little bit sinister. I think the idea is that if you worship the little spirits of the area by giving them little houses, they won’t trouble your real house and they might even give you luck too. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Great place,,lovely everything this feelings and great house. I like very very much this you video. Thank you this. Byee,,from Finland friends 👋🤗🏛〰️〰️💕💕🥀🌾🥀🌾🥀

The picture on the mug with the three-headed dog is called Cerberus. It guards the gates of the underworld.
The dog from Harry Potter was named Fluffy.

Yeah likely a lanslide
Francobolli means stamps in Italian, that's probably why there were at lot on the floor - maybe from out of that book!
