You chose the right time of year because there would be no way through those brambles in summer. Milan is beautiful but sooo expensive! I went to a Italian friends wedding in Milan it was hands down the best wedding I have ever been too.
I think I loved the beautiful tho challenging hike to and from the house as much as the house! So unique. And I very much enjoy your sharing your traveling challenges about buying gas and checking for bedbugs and the lovely meals and sight seeing! Thank you!

Oh no 😢. I’m sorry for your loss. It really doesn’t matter how old you are when your parents die, you feel so bereft. My mom was the last parent to go and I remember feeling like an orphan. You take care of yourself. Sympathies to you and your loved ones ❤

At 11:00 there was a reflection of someone in adjoining bedroom window, then at 11:06, it was gone. Yet at 11:11 you could Sam's feet coming out behind you. Did you try to know why the house owner and his family left that house? Were they killed or there was some other reason as they left all the stuff behind while leaving the house?

I keep hearing that myth that vegans are not very bright people, I say I know a couple in the UK that repeatedly disproves that. They visit old houses and discuss the history, like todays house. both interesting and weird.
UGH ! Bedbugs. I hate those things. You guys should have asked for housekeeping to bring a vacuum cleaner to you so you could at least vacuum that bed. You guys may shpould get some travel size botles of bed bug spray.
