I have a cheap 2 pc spinning rod that I rarely use because the tip flies off sometimes. Its also heavy and just generally uncomfortable to use. I keep it as a spare if a unexperienced person wants to fish because I don't care if they break it. I am going to pick some of the wax for it though! Good tip!
