Hi Joe, it’s always a pleasure to watch you living your life in these videos, I hope you feel you’re never alone in life as you take us along and witness your struggles and challenges as well your enjoyment, we’re your family, hang in there bud we’re always with you 👍🐸.
You're getting pretty good at this video stuff joe... Another great job... I think your coverage of your life off the road is of a lot of interest... There's endless motorcycle channels that just show going down the road. That's it... Good for you
I liked the sign…”Welcome to the Real Florida”😂 People spent the last 40 years obliterating the “Real Florida” paved paradise and put up parking lots. Plug kits work as long as you don’t have a tube. No tea or coffee with that fresh boiled water? Thanks for posting and ride safe.
Literally in my neighborhood :) FYI nails in the road is a local problem..... When you are in Citrus County try to ride in the "tire Tracks" on the road Hope you enjoy Florida as much as i do :)
There are distinct advantages to tubeless wheel setups. Bonus points for the center stand. Those two combined saved you hours of time and cursing. I've finished the life of a Metzler rear tire with a plug in it, no problems. I've since switched to Shinko and haven't had to do that research on them as of yet. I suspect you'll be just fine. That hot chow looked delicious.
Absolutely 💯 couldn’t live (happily) without a center stand. I too have had good luck with plugs (knocks wood) but know some friends who haven’t been so lucky ✌️
Man, that was an amazing response time by the fire department. Did you notice at the beginning of the video, you hear the sirens as soon as you fired up that lighter.
Joe; good video as usual. A center stand does have an advantage. My ole Harley don't have. Looks like your getting rested from working and overseas trip. Food cooked in the country always tastes better!!! God Bless safe ridin rubber down
"Shiitake mushrooms and Spam, on the jetboil." Put that in the title of your next cooking video and see what happens. All you need is one good viral video to blow up your channel for a life-changing turn of events. Looks like you're getting there though. I watched the "views" counter click over 40 times just in the course of time that it took me to write these comments. The numbers roll just like on a slot machine. It's pretty cool to watch in real time. Build it and they will come! Best of luck to you brother. All of your years of hard work are finally starting to pay off. Just keep striving for that viral idea that takes you over the top! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey man.. just got back from being in Florida myself; rode down with some friends to the Mayo / Live Oak area and the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort.. they took us to Crystal River and that same road that you went down and picked up that nail on..
You definitely brought back some awesome Asian dishes. This looked like it had the small black crabs I use to see in a lot of Thai dishes. Well done. Might use this one for our Camp N Cook happening the 24th - 28th of April.
Joe you're not far from me. there's a couple great roads like ozello trail another south of you is Cortez blvd runs along side weeki wachee and goes all the way down toward the famous Bayport inn bar and restaurant. Fort island trail is cool too just north of you similar to ozello but shorter, also when you go back north check out cedar key I think you ll really find it interesting.
Joe I enjoy your content.. and your Vagabond Cooking... I too have a You Tube channel however My idea of roughing is a Holiday Inn with out a pool.... I know that is counter to what your channel is but I love to ride and find interesting thins in my retirement... Keep making content...
only you can make a gourmet meal out of your saddlebags....I'm dying to be be back on the road long story, but soon now. I really hope to get. you in France and enjoy the road of frenchy foods
Hey there Joe, you probably get this a lot but I have seen you on Scotty’s channel and recently found you here and I’m really enjoying your laidback approach to your content. You have a new subscriber. Good luck!
First time I heard that slurping was in Japan. I was there on a job in 1994. I love that country but it’s not cheap to live there. I’m uncertain about chances for stealth camping. My company paid for motels of which couldn’t seem to book me a room for more than a day or two so I mover about 9 times. Up side, I got to see a lot of that area of the country which is Fukushima. Well known now due to the carnage caused by the earthquake in 2011. The areas I was in are now a 25 mile radius exclusionary zone so contaminated it’s un inhabitable. What’s left, the tsunami wrecked much of the area. Sorry to get off on a tangent. 🤷🏼
Hi joe. I agree ! Old style plugs work best. I just got 2 nails in my rear. 1000+ mi still good. Just saw bob at J&P az bike week. Yesterday. All well. Maybe you’ll see him at Panama City rally if you’re working there.. i might get there
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Back in the 80's people told me that I looked like Chuck Norris. I said, "No. I don't look like Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris looks like me."😎
That tire plug glue acts like a lubricant initially to help get the rope plug in. If you don't have any of that glue you can use spit or if you have a girl with you its fun to tell them you are going to need some of their natural lubricant. They will talk about that for years.
Someone must be telling you to avoid that exact same spot. Two flats? I've watched that tire plug video by Fortnine and not sure I agree with their findings. What are the chances you will have another hit in the exact same spot to damage the plug. I carry the Dynaplug kit and have used it several times. Also have the sticky ropes like you used. Odd thing is I never had a flat until I started carrying a plug kit. So did I jinx myself or has someone been watching over me until I got the kit? 🤔
Hey Joe, love your channel and enjoy all of your videos! I've been watching since the beginning when you were on the 300. With your getting off road frequently, I was wondering if you use dual sport tires or street, and what brand name? Like some of the others commented, I also enjoy the variety of filming you shoot, very entertaining!
Thanks a lot brother 😎 I’ve never had good luck with adv tires. To me the benefits of running like an 80/20 tire are outweighed by the vibration on the pavement, weird wear patterns, and reduced life. My friend Tom swears by the Mitas tires. Says he gets a lot of miles. I may try them at some point
Joe, i have been considering a nc750x to replace my 2005 F650GS . I have had 55,000 miles of enjoyment and it still runs great but will be 20 years old soon. I have two questions, one is I hate being in 5th gear at 45 and turning 4,500 rpm at 60 mph. What is the rpm at 60 with your 6 speed? second, what is your rea world mpg with the Honda. I average 65 mpg with the gs. Enjoy your adventures!
Thanks man! I'm usually still in 5th at 60mph, turning around 4.3k. She'll do a steady 90mph on flat pavement turning about 4.5k. With my bags and luggage and everything, I'm getting a decent 50-60 mph, depending if I'm on the highway or backroads. And she runs on regular with no problem.
Have you taken your NC750X offroading/forest dirt trail riding for miles? I'm not talking about the gnarly enduro whoop whoops. Just wondering if ground clearance was ever an issue?
A little bit, she’s not really cut out for anything too extreme, especially with the load I’m carrying. But she’s great for getting into tight spaces. And yes she will bottom out but I put a skid plate on
They make collapsing rod reel setups. That is like the size of your palm. There's nothing like fresh fish. I'm from Manitoba. Fresh Walleye is absolutely awesome.
Those Ramen are the best! You got me eating them a year or two ago. I seen one of your noodle meals. Are you old enough to remember those old pull tab beer cans? Pretty wild seeing them still them! 👍♥️✌🙏🇺🇸🛵
Good stuff Joe, thanks for sharing with us. I love too see as much Old Florida as I can.
