I love your videos, takes me back to my youth with my Pan and Shovel, so much freedom.. Would love to help you out financially, but my breast cancer from 22 years ago came back with a vengeance, has now spread to brain cancer, seven tumors, I still have one horse and two barn cats to care for and they are truly spoiled.. I follow you and Scotty for a wonderful thrill of days gone by.. Please keep rolling, on the safe side, you will have wonderful memories when you are my age.. You bring me so much joy.. Spirits and good vibes to you.. Peace out...
Hey, if your still around the area and want to try the Dempster Highway in a couple of weeks time let me know. I’m currently in Vancouver for the next couple of weeks! Cheers. Monty.
Hey Joe ! While many of us following your journey envy your freedom and adventures , I believe this video demonstrates that it isn't always peaches and cream. Thanks for sharing the somewhat less than joyous parts of this lifestyle you have chosen. As always be safe out there. The UP is very similar to parts of northern Maine.
Joe, I went your way last week. Niagara, Ontario, Michigan and then the Badger across Lake Michigan to Manatowoc. Had a great time at the Harley 120th. Sorry I missed you. Next time I see some crazy guy with a motorcycle on the side of the road with a camera, waving his arms, I’ll stop to say Hey. 😅Thanks for posting and ride safe.
That was a great video! Loved your explanation of Canada at the end. My wife and I have spent time up there and we couldn't have said it better. What great neighbors the Canadiens are
Been following you and Scooter tramp Scotty for awhile - just love you alls adventures keep them coming. These videos brings us fun and laughter to a sad world where as Scotty says freedom is being taken from us.
Loved watching The Tom Green show! I think kids are weird now, but maybe we just got old. Lol Smoke is bad here today in SD. Ride safe bro✌️ Maybe see ya in the hills.
Wished I had known you were coming through the Sault. Pino's is 2 min from my home. You have been welcomed to stay with us & gotten some home cooked Italian. Too bad you didn't go N & road along Lake Superior. Missed out on incredible views & riding.
That is too bad things turned out that way Joe. I live a few hours south of your route in Ontario. The weather this year was mostly a shit sandwich. Unusually cool and wet. I f you return, I suggest you explore The Bruce Peninsula and Manatoulin Island. Beauty country and plenty of free camping I'm sure.
Quite an adventure Joe. Just bad timing. It has been a long stretch of wet weather here in the North East. Very unusual for sure. But you seemed to make the best of it. Thanks for taking us along. Good video. I think your in dryer weather and having much more fun now and you will be hanging out with your buds at camp 5 soon.
Another fantastic video brother! I was curious how bad the smoke would be for you coming from the wildfires up north. I'm sorry to hear about all the rain though, that's a bummer when it's just constant and seems never-ending. Nevertheless, it was really cool seeing parts of Canada and does look quite beautiful up there! Thanks for sharing and ride safe!
Glad to hear that thermacell is working for you. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. The smoke was crazy thick all the way in Gettysburg pa. Like 420/500ppm. It wrecked my sinuses for a few days. Keep the videos coming!
Amazing how smoke can change a beautiful adventure into something almost dreadful. I did love the sunset shot across the lake. The setting sun thru the smoke gave it a sci-fi look. Well done. Welcome back.
Thanks man. See ya soon. FYI, there was a creek running thru the bottom of the gravel road @ Sturgis Camp... Water levels are up, they've musta been getting rain out here
Love your adventures Joe. I wish I'd have known that you were headed up Interstate 81 north going to Laconia. I live right off of 81 at the Md. Pa. state line. Maybe next time. 27:35
I'm bad about keeping track. Around 15k I think. The Michelin Pilot Road 4. Great in the rain, but gets really lumpy as it wears. I'm gonna try a Dunlop next time
Joe I love watching your videos I know you’re probably going to Sturgis and camping at camp 5 I was looking for some advice on camping there myself any suggestions
Cool 😎 just try to get there early to find a spot. I’d suggest parking on the gravel and walking the place first. There’s a lotta stumps and holes hidden in the grass
Okay thanks I just remembered in your earlier video you said something about a creek bed I would like to camp somewhere before having to cross that LOL I’ll take your advice and walk it first thanks
Hey Joe I Have 2 Sets of Michelin Anakee 111's Rear 170/60-R17 Front 120/70R-19 1 set New 1 like new If they Fit your bike they're yours. I never miss Sturgis But always ride, Im in Denver Hit me up if you can use them .
Just so you know - any time you see pine trees planted in rows like that it is a human created plantation - and the young trees get planted close together and as they grow - the WEAKER ONES GET STARVED OF LIGHT AND DIE................................and in addition - trees growing in such close quarters tend to grow very tall and straight - and ESPECIALLY SPINDLY - so they blow over in storms quite easily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are actually advantages to such a plantation system - such as when a tree dies or blows over - it opens up the canopy and allows other species to take root - the increasing biodiversity...........................
Did you happen to come across Bob and Doug Mc Kenzie out in The Great White North. Those two are a couple of real Hosers aye. Glad you didn't turn into a Hose Head while you were there. 😅 If you don't get the joke, search, Bob and Doug Mc Kenzie. 🤭
Down here in Minnesota we delt with that smoke all summer…it was terrible…love the videos!
Thank you!! ✌️

No matter which path in life you take, you will have to endure suffering at some points.
Great episode, thanks!
No problem! ✌️
Glad you made it back into the States. Thanks for the shout out at the end, glad to pitch in.
Anytime! Thanks again man ✌️
Great video very interesting thanks.
Very welcome
Thanks for the video Joe. In western Canada we have long weekends in the summer because we can't jam all the weather into 2 days ...
Anytime man! That’s hilarious 🤣
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it

Loved the video joe. Im laid up sick with lyme disease from a tick bite and taking antibiotics this week and your videos are helping me thru....
Been a bad year for ticks. Hang in there
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond thanks man, appreciate that
Great adventure! Keep up the good work! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Dang Joe. Granite Falls is 18 miles from me Stay safe
Loved watching The Tom Green show! I think kids are weird now, but maybe we just got old. Lol
Smoke is bad here today in SD.
Ride safe bro✌️ Maybe see ya in the hills.
Thanks Joe ! Ima stuck in Louisiana it’s great to see the outside world!
Cheers man!
My opinion would be showing you with the tent at night and talking about your adventures of the day. That is part of motor camping.
Good idea 👍

@@dirtymotorcyclevagabondWell you are always welcome here. You need to go north and do the Superior Route. Amazing.
🤘😎🤘
Cool to see your everyday struggles with freedom

Yeah that was "fun" trip lol. 🤣 Loved Canada, but obviously hit it the wrong year. Cool, I'll look into those
Did you stop by undercutters pizzia? Great video joe
No I didn't. Where is it?
Lol nice!🍕

Absolutely!
Next time you are around I am about 2.5 hrs South of North Bay
Sounds good
I had seen you on hyw 17 by the Mr gas just east of Northbay.
sure was a smokey few days here
Haha cool
Hate you had to deal with the smoke while you were up there. I don't blame ya wanting to get out of that area. Crazy how many dead trees there was.
That was stressful lol 😂
Amazing how smoke can change a beautiful adventure into something almost dreadful. I did love the sunset shot across the lake. The setting sun thru the smoke gave it a sci-fi look. Well done. Welcome back.

Poor audio but nice to see you've been in my area (Sault), I think this was about 2 weeks ago with the smoke, rain helps . Safe travels Joe.
The smoke is back today in N.E. Ohio. It has a real chemically smell to it, and the haze is pretty pronounced.
It's some nasty stuff...
Bad case of pine Beatles
Funny we’ve gotten very little rain here in Southern Ontario
That is interesting…
VERY Gald to see your ok.. lotta sux on this one ..rain just makes you slow down.. thermal cell work pretty good? again and always thanks for video...
Thanks dude lol. Yeah, it’s decent as hell after it gets going.
Where do you pick up supplies for thermal cell?

@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond I hope so!
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Joe, what brand cover are you using for your bike?
Surprised you're not using dual sport tires with all the trails you ride on
The street tires last longer imo. I often wish I had a dual sport tire lol
Are you in sturgis already? Maybe i’ll catch u there again. Leaving sunday
You got it 👍
Dam right enjoy, I'm waiting for a dead tree to fall on my neighbor.
Lmao
I'm from South Africa, loving your content. What's your take on the NC please.
Love it mate 👍 quite versatile, and the petrol consumption is good
Pine beetles
When you head north take the low road and don't drive at night, roads suck and lots of moose
I hope to get further up there at some point.
Rednecks in Ontario? What did you expect from a town named Shawsville? Lol
A touch of nrv home humor!
Pembroke too lmao 🤣 it’s a parallel universe up there bra
@dirtymotorcyclevagabond oh yeah, didn't even connect that! If you see a Pulaski, get the hell out of there and head west.
Lmao definitely 💯 last thing I need is to be back in Pulaski lol
Hi joe, how many miles did you get out of that back tire, or was that the tire that came with the bike?
I'm bad about keeping track. Around 15k I think. The Michelin Pilot Road 4. Great in the rain, but gets really lumpy as it wears. I'm gonna try a Dunlop next time
🇺🇲👍🇺🇲👍🇺🇲👍
Did the rain knock down the smoke?
To a certain extent, yes. The biggest factor is the wind direction
How many miles have you put on the Honda since purchased?
Almost 20k I think...
Joe

Yeah, if you veer off to the right you’ll go down a hill and across the creek bed. There’s usually less people back there
Canada seems to be a beautiful Country, but too much rain…..
Was really just my bad luck. I kept on eye on it for weeks, and it was nice. Till I got there lol 😂
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond , at least you escaped the 105* degree temps ……
Hi joe ever been spooked by some wild animal at night?
Pretty often. Usually a raccoon, but I had three bears come within 10 yds of my camp once. Down in Florida
Are you working sturgis this year joe.
Does the pope wear a funny hat? 🤣
Lol. True that. Going to be at camp 5 this year. Hopefully see you there
I’ll be here
