It’s always bugged me that the “support” refit only has 1 squadron value
I always figured that was because it was the "Medical Frigate" from ESB - (support as in fleet auxilliary) the hanger bays have made way for other facilities
Thanks for doing these for each ship. They really help me to navigate to a few good base builds for ships to at least have something on the table that isn't a total trainwreck as I learn this game.

Nebs are rough to field but you can rush a bunch and have some fun
I just need a card for the lovely new Imperial Nebulan that's we can get our hands on now. God I so want that to be able to be properly supported
You know the Nebulons started as Imperial ships, they just kept being stolen by the Rebels.

@@Biodragon882 I figured, but I wasn't sure. Not many people seem to have read the novels that mentions that kind of thing. A lot of world building took place in the novels and people just don't read much.

You have A LOT more experience with Star Wars Armada than I do, but I started watching this video because I’ve always loved Nebulon B’s and have decided to make one my flagship. I was doing a Pelta with a bunch of small ships. Anyway, one thing you didn’t mention... is that Mon Mothma makes evade better.

spines, gunnery team, vanguard, and shield teams. it throws 8 red dice a turn and it has good survivability! i enjoy running this build.
Nolan Dickerson it can only throw 8 dice if it’s targeting two ships so it’s not as good it’s just better to run a different ship
@@peewee130946 if you can run a ship that can do an average of 7 damage an activation for 74 points then by all means run that ship, but ill run what I like.

Yep, Neb-B became really good with the new cards, I often play with one or two Neb-Bs on my fleets. But I highly recommend you to revisit the Starhawk, it is not a bad ship as you think

I'm looking forward to HFZ with a neb. Also glad to see Redemption getting some attention, my personal favorite for the neb.
I think it’d be a cool concept if Armada implemented a "Mega (Faction) Expansion Pack." The rebels could have a DP20 (Small), Assault Frigate Mk I (Medium, more black dice focused), some squadrons like U-wings and K-wings. Imperials could have Tartan Patrol Cruiser (small), Dreadnaught-Class Heavy Cruiser (medium), squadrons could be Tie Reapers & Strikers.
If they wanted to include more, rebels could have Marauder Class Corvette & Empire gets maybe an Acclamator, but I can see them saving that for the clone wars version of Armada. It'd be an interesting thought though if the ship was compatible/interchangeable for both factions though (Clones & Empire) as a multi-use ship
I'd prefer Alpha class starwings than TIE Reapers

First Armada ship I bought just before wave 3/4 came out (only $20). Looked into gameplay and shelled out $90 for core game. Still have and use "Horizon"

Hi. You are often talkin that Brace is the best according to defence. But on the other hand, when you are talking about offencive, I haven't seen you ever talk or use HTT. Why if this turbolaser tells you can brace only one damage (if brace is only token used)?

Why would you ever use the nebulon over cr-90 in a akbar fleet cr-90 are just better

I really like the Local Fire Control on Nebulon Bs. It becomes a really affordable ship counter option, and dishes out a lot of return fire for an incredibly low cost. Also really love Heavy Fire Zone as well, for insane anti-squadron builds. Overall, it's great to see the Nebulon Bs given more variety in how they can support the builds players want to run. It's lovely.

HFZ would also be great on Yavaris!! Super squadron support, helping to flak down enemy squads and help your own to get to bombing ships faster.
Also, good thought to put Agate on other nebs. Yav can be one threat while Agate buffs another to be a second threat
The Nebulon B is such an iconic ship. I love seeing it revitalized and made useful. The Heavy Fire Zone build is great for new players who are still learning to not get overwhelmed by squadrons.
Now that you have the Imperial Nebulon B variant EC Henry designed, what changes do you think would change on the ship as a platform?

I’m working on building a ‘rush’ rebel fleet with the star hawk and winged calamari ship who’s name escapes me at the moment. I think using the ghost to escort in bombers too is a pretty good idea. Essentially rush enemy capital ship and pick off the rest

if heavy fire zone was literally "exchange blue for red" i wouldnt even take that for 1pt unless i had a few random points floating around and didnt use that slot yet.
The actual die itself is technically better than blue but not by much. Less accurate, but the 2damage side offsets that. The true benefit is that insane reach.
Hate to break it to you but I one shot a neb b with a Vic sd.

I personally love the Neb-B, one of my favorite ships as well as the Victory. I’d love to see a properly supported Imp Neb-B. Bet they would pair well with the Arqs.

Always loved the neb as a support ship, I'd try to keep it out of harm's way at a slower speed and often had ships flanking it. Making slaved turrets useful.

I wonder once the clone wars comes out if they will have cross-faction ships like the pelta and if they do that you could mabey use the nebulon b for the empire.
You can get 11 engineering points if you use an mc 80 with leia or raymus antilles then engineering team, exodus fleet, and redemption
The nebulon b is my favorite ship and when I got my Nadiri Starhawk I now usually run like a Starhawk with Ackbar and like 3 nebulons
I have definitely been inspired with ideas on how to fit this ship back into lists. Could be very interesting in RitR task forces.

Hey so you were talking about the evades at extreme range. So that mc 30 title that blocks normal 2 with evade, would that block 4 at extreme range?
The title states that it cancels ONE additional result, so it could block 3 at extreme.

No she doesn't do anything extra at extreme range. You're thinking of the MC-30 Title that targets one additional die.
