"I am the True King"
I own NOTHING, but i thought i should spread this song too, not only the Globgogabgalab one, and opinion here, the movie has bad animation and awkward pauses, but it is NOT a bad and incompetent movie, see the Making-Of of this movie on it's site, it explains a whole lot! (even mentioning FNAF's Scott Cawthon as inspiration, and that's was way before he made FNAF)
And the people were a small group, they do deserve more attention, i mean, the story is good and the songs are catchy, i would say they did a great job! - Фільми й анімація

Shade's Insane Chamber but its an great anime
It indirectly tries to tell children that books are bad and ungodly. Religious propaganda
Tremble! In fear my child! Follow me into everlasting light!
Floognoodle night*
dickhead
I love how this guy is hiding in the cupboard for the entire film, doesnt do anything while his plan is being destroyed, jumps out, says how evil he is and jumps back into the cupboard
As you do.
True chad
Kinda reminds me of the actual Satan
they warned me satan would be attractive
INDEED.
*You got bleach?*
*Who said they weren't?*
I'm not gonna lie, I like this guy's voice and design. Definitely screams "villain" to me in a good way, and would have been an intimidating antagonist in a different movie.
Right?
These guys had great ideas! if they just had the Budget and right people...
Actually he's from the book series that was used as inspiration for the movie problem is they skipped to the third book and didn't give any context to the rat kings character
Shade's Insane Chamber l
P
Hm, yeah. The design is alright, just a bit of refining and I'm sure he could be a pretty good cartoon bad guy. Eric Clayton's talents should also be put to better use.
There’s a incredible cover that makes this a horrifyingly good and legitimately villainous song:
ua-cam.com/video/OtYJaJTcc-c/v-deo.html
I unironically like this
KONO DIO DA Me too
Most of the songs in this movie are pretty catchy.
I especially like his deep sexy voice.
The movies not that bad honestly. Just stupid.
Same
Ironic that the best song in a Christian cartoon telling kids to serve god is sung by Satan
It is sweet~
It isn't inspired by Disney musicals for nothing.
are you kidding me you can't beat the gabgalabgogab song
It’s even more ironic that it’s the best song in the movie.
I think the Rat King is meant to represent atheism, which as this movie presents is pursuing personal desires rather than that of the great Elohim. Evidenced by how the globglogabgalab (a creature who does whatever he wants and suffers from this) was presumably turned into what he is by the rat king and how the violin was convinced by the rat king not to worship him but to play their own tunes unguided by Elohim.
I hate to admit half of the songs in this are pretty catchy
Anakin Skywalker
Yes Skyguy
Yeah, definitely. But unfortunately, the other half is boring.
YOU ARE A LIAR! All of them are catchy =P
So... His plan is to make everyone reads books, right?
Top 10 villain that are actually good guys.
huh... Indeed~
He'd make the perfect good guy for "Fahrenheit 451"
This is pretty much RatBoyGenius with higher budget. Even the villain is a rat king.
The great HG *slightly higher
Yeah, good point.
The great HG Both series were made in around the same year...
I didn't know that. I need a crossover because I bet the Rat King sure loves to make potato knishes
And a soundtrack that is 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
This is literally the Ratking's whole screentime
Top 10 anime villains
pass the aux cord
you better not play trash
me:
I’d like this but it’s at 69 likes and I don’t wanna ruin it
To be fair, Rat King's song was my favorite. Plus, his design is as well. It's pretty decent for what Hope Animation had, and his song is actually pretty catchy. The actor for the Rat King has a great voice for villan, and that just makes this all the greater.
Yup Yup!
Agreed and Agreed, it's a pretty solid villain song, can't say if he is a pretty solid villain since he is in the movie for one minute and a half, but yeah, Hope-animation did awesomely in that Regard.
This guy is weirdly intimidating. Not very comical, his voice and how he says "my child" are legit unsettling.
He's supposed to represent Satan.
Robot Jones I mean they at least try to make him threatening. He's still a shortass rat who appears out of nowhere.
Rats, we're rats, we're the rats! We prey at night, we stalk at night, we're the rats!
I'M THE GIANT RAT THAT MAKE UP ALL THE RULES!
Let's see what kinds of trouble we can get ourselves into!
This villain had less screen time than Darth Vader in rouge one and that's saying a lot
@Mystery Man much more than this
Best character after the Globgogabgalab... and he only got like.. 3 seconds and a song :/... on the other hand, the Rat King's song has "over the garden wall" vibes..
It does! doesn't it?
The troll song also got that Over the Garden Wall feel you're talking about
It's globglogabgalab not globgogabgalab
pivotnaza
*How dare you say that the Globgogabgalab isnt the best.*
pivotnaza I love dat show
I actually unironically like this song
the model and the song are cool actually...
*Get consumed*
My favorite Dark Souls NPC
Royal Rat Authority
This and the Troll Song are probably the unironically best songs from this movie
i like the Globgogabgalab one too~
DJ 3lectrical hell all the songs were pretty catchy
a rainbow Fishy Not the Book song. God that song is annoying. 😂
I like how the lighting in the mysterious house becomes a music video for an 80s power ballad whenever Strawinsky sings for the Scarlet Queen, then immediately reverts back as soon as he's done.
The Rat King: ( singing )
The Books: 🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺
He's no yeast of thoughts and minds, but _he's still a good _*_41/53_*
Beeth I keep saying this comment about everything I can
He just hides in the cupboard the whole time, comes out to sing about how powerful and evil he is, then immediately does nothing and runs away like a coward. Then the other characters go on talking like nothing happened. Yep. Definitely seems pretty fierce to me.
A metal cover of this would be amazing
If i'm not mistaken the official DVD comes with a Cover~ ;P
Jokes aside, this guy's voice is so chill-
That trumpet part starting at 1:05 is awesome.
Number 1 on Spotify
I can see SpringTrap singing this.
Okay, this movie is anything but good but, to whoever voiced the rat king, I hope you find more work In life. You were probably the best voice actor of this movie. I know that's not saying much, but it's still something.
This song is actually very catchy
The fact that this is sung by the vocalist from Christian gothic metal band makes it even better.
I just realized the Rat king has two right hands. I find it both disturbing yet hilarious, haha!
I wish this had more instruments, this kind of sounds simplistic, but it's very catchy and well written
Do the books always dance along to whatever song is playing in the library?
It seems so~
It's a cheap way to use the same animation again and again
The books are imbued with the Rat King's power. They dance along with the Globglogabgalab as well because the Rat King's eldritch knowledge basically mutated him into what he is now.
It's going to be hard explaining to my parents how I have a crush on a giant, satanic rat...
Ew was I really this weird only 2 years ago?

The Rat King is hot though. You cannot be blamed.
When I heard that a rat king would be in this film, I thought it would be a reference to The Nutcracker. And yeah, this guy would be actually pretty intimidating in that show.
This song is shockingly metal, given the source material. Especially that CHORUS tho.
RIGHT???
Too bad this guy got less screentime than Greedo in A New Hope. I honestly wouldn't mind if Hope Animation made a sequel to this film where the Rat King fights the Scarlet Queen.
Also, the Rat King needs to have a rap battle with Little King John.
AND WINS!
them damn books
It gettin lit my guy
Hope animation should make a sequel where we get to know more about the rat King, the globglogabgolab and the Scarlet Queen.
The ASMR King...
I could hear the crackly mouth noises 😩
I think a death metal or rock remix of this song would be a sick idea.
RIGHT???
Shade's Insane Chamber Nah fam, a Hip Hop Remix.
Allegedly there's a remix you can get of the song made by the Rat King's voice actor. Not sure what the genre is since it involves buying the movie, and I can't be arsed to do it. Alternatively, the voice actor founded a Christian metal band if you actually do want to hear him do metal: ua-cam.com/video/TNA05RLojkM/v-deo.html
Oh my god, I want to try that
This is better than Globgogabgalab
Tbh, this dude has a pretty good voice
He does!~
MAKE. THIS. A. MEME.
"The Great Elohim"
Love how they didn't even try to hide it
Eric Clayton provided the Rat Kings voice. He was the lead singer for gothic rock band Saviour Machine and played the role of Reason in Ayreon’s The Human Equation.
Andrew James the movie creator expected this to sell the movie to Clayton's fans... I don't think the audiences really line up
And I wondered why this sounded so metal to me even without actual metal music haha
This gives me goosebumps, reminds me of a Voltaire song
OH MY GOD, I love Aurelio Voltaire, it DOES sound like a song of his.
Am I the only one who love the most how he said ,,k,, in ,,the rat King"???
We need to remix this
This song is actually good. Strange.
This had no right going this hard
Right?
The best song in the whole movie tbh
Fun Fact: Eric Clayton, Rat King's voice actor, was the songwriter for gothic christian metal band Saviour Machine
Yeah, if i'm not mistaken, there is a cover of this song (by him again) in the extras if you get the DVD
I love how he has a hoarse voice crack when he says "king" at the very end.
Bruh this is actually catchy I can't really believe such a song with dark and negative theories would be like this. So hard to despise. >.
Friend hands me the aux cord telling me not to play trash
* plays this jam
Man this film had potential, potential that was bloody wasted. This film was actually based on a German Children Book series, and out of all the books from the series they chose to adapt it was the third one. This explains the whole Lack of Lore.
Not to mention the film was created by an inexperienced animator (David Hutter) who was also a bit of a Toxic Christian, I’ve heard, this film could’ve had a decent plot. Also I’d change the Animation style and character designs, go for something that’s hand drawn and has a similar art style to Disney Renaissance films or Don Bluth, it doesn’t help that in the end credits they show illustrations from the original book that is just pure evidence that this would work in hand drawn.
The songs are decent as we see here, if they had a stronger orchestra I’d say this song would be on par with stuff like Be Prepared or the Dark of the Night.
That doesn’t mean that the studio that created this project (Hope) has created nothing but trash, I’ve actually seen some of their other features that Scott Cawthon worked on, mainly stuff like the Pilgrim’s Progress and Noah’s Ark, sure the animation is outdated and has rough, jagged movements but they aren’t heavy with symbolism or propaganda, have a decent plot and have some appealing designs (seriously look no further than Apollyon from the Pilgrim’s Progress)
But yeah, this studio can definitely create decent projects, it just depends on getting the right people to do it.
This is a big chunk of info that i mostly didn't know about! :O woah~
If anyone is blown away by the Rat King's voice and song in this film, it's because he's voiced by Eric Clayton, lead vocalist of the band Saviour Machine. Go listen to that band, especially start with the song "Carnival of Souls" and be blown away fiftyfold.
RkivUnderground the creator expected to sell this movie to Clayton's fanbase... I don't think the audiences line up
Trenton Thompson well ironically this film sold me into Saviour Machine. There's that.
Someone must remix and extend this art ASAP
ua-cam.com/video/OtYJaJTcc-c/v-deo.html
@@Alex-qe5wn my God I forgot about this. Thanks lol
It's like an off-brand version of "Be Prepared" with David Bowie-esque vocals.
bro just went ahh I’m spooky rat king ok bye I’m going to not have any other importance in the story and run away
Conker's Bad Fur Day was a more eloquent game than I remember it being...
I'm only listening to this in order to get it out of my head oml
Damn... this reminds me of the nightmare before christmas???
0:52 - 0:57 is actually a really cool shot.
Kinda reminds me of the Rat King from the Nutcracker.
He just hangs out in the closet, gets out of it, and goes back in
Look at the sassy ass books. 😂😂
The voice is great, but if people are trembling in fear, they're not going to follow him, lmao XD
The ASMR is strong with this one
so a rat with a crown a cloak and a song is supposed to defend against the way of the fist
come at me bro
this is actually good
hes supposed to represent satan
Y’know, his calm voice makes it far more creepy.
Indeed.
Actual lyrics:
Yes, I am the king of the rat folk,
I’m the greatest force of all
Veil the realm in lies with my dark cloak
Bring despair and make you fall.
Tremble in fear my child
follow me into everlasting night
I am your fiercest foe
oh how frightful terrifying is the Ratking’s evil might.
For no soul ever resists me
my regime is fierce and grim
I will spread my kingdom of terror
and destroy Great Elohim.
Tremble and fear my child
follow me into everlasting night
I am your fiercest foe
oh how frightful terrifying is the Ratking’s evil might.
Is it bad that this song is legitimately good? I'd play this a lot more often if it was on Spotify or something
Nah, even out of context this song works~ ;D
Shade's Insane Chamber id give this movie one thing, a lot of the songs are v e r y catchy!
Imagine if Ghost made a cover of this
Well, this is a banger
I wish he has more screentime.
Ditto
this is his only appearance in the whole movie
lmao this whole cartoon looks like a cutscene from some game of early 2000's
That's just unfair..
The rat king could make a pretty good Satan if he had better lyrics where he doesn't just admit he's evil like a moron. His design is also actually pretty good, it's just the animation which is atrocious.
Give me one reason on why this really crappy movie has a song that i put on my good music playlist
This is honestly lit
Putting this in 1.25 speed is the best song I have ever heard
I'm sad that this isn't on Spotify, because I want to listen to it on the bus, because this is a banger.
My favorite character.
A very lit, edgy, and catchy tune! Love!
This is actually kinda good. It's just a little underwhelming.
Strange that The rat king didn't get enough screentime, only a good catchy song. I could imagine if Springtrap could sing this song.
The fact the guy who made this movie skipped the previous books for adaptation , the rat king literally has no context to why hes here, why he after the main characters or what's his relevants to the story , like seriously they put so much work into making everything an reference to Christianity that they completely forgot to make a story that made sense
Try’s to make a villain to discourage kids from reading.
Makes the coolest villain that makes you want to read.
Christianity shooting itself in the foot again.
He kinda reminds of King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong TV Show.
I am now scarred for life
is it bad i learned to play this on the piano?
Woooh~ not at all~
ua-cam.com/video/LZFC6j2A4-Q/v-deo.html
Woah! i really like the spin ya gave it!
NICE JOB~
thanks a bunch! :D
So the other characters aren't gonna do anything about this guy?
