How to decide size of columns?like if we no of floor increases then size of column increases,what is the reason for that?
As Column load carrying capacity not only depends on size of column but also on Dia of bars used, No of bars used, Grade of steel and Concrete used. As the number of floors increased load on each column increases so we need to counter it by increasing the size of column/dia of bar/no of bars/ grade of steel n conc.
