Pete Seeger is/was a national treasure. He set the standard for Americana protest songs; check out his work with The Weavers in the early 1950s.

This should be our National Anthem. Woody Guthrie nailed it.
My deepest condolences on the passing of Pete Seeger. Arlo lost his other Dad.

Every time I listen to this song, I get choked up thinking of this amazing nation we live in; it's triumphs and failures, it's indelible scripture of liberty, and its amazing how well this song sums that up.

I love it. I took my son to see Arlo Guthrie a few nights ago and what a show. Not only is he a great musician but an amazing storytelling as well.

One of my favorite versions of one of my favorite songs. Had this burnt to a CD, but lost the MP3 years ago, searched forever to find this exact version. Word.

I am so excited to find this! I've been searching for a good version containing the versus you normally don't get to hear, thank you so much for posting this! We see, hear, & read so much nowadays about the horrors the worst of humanity inflicts upon one another, but music like this always reminds me that those people are the minority in this world. We need the beauty, strength, & unity of music like this, I think now more than ever.

Great video!! Contains the three versus of "This Land is Your Land" which you don't usually get to hear.

@shashankmehra1 For some reason, this jewel of a video never seems to come up when you enter "This Land Is Your Land" into a UA-cam search engine. I only found it because I look for every version of this song that's ever been recorded: I first heard it at a live Pete Seeger concert when I was four. I love this version; you should also see the video from Woftrap in 1993, again Pete and Arlo together.

Does anyone know where this concert took place? I remember watching it on pbs ( I think) in the late seventies. Is it Wolftrap?
