Chromatic Aberration

  • Chromatic Aberration is the phenomenon in which the edge of convex lens acts as a prism and splits white light into seven colors. This results in annoying colors in the image. To solve the problem of chromatic aberration the objective lenses are corrected. These corrected objectives can be either achromatic objective or apochromatic objective.

    Thank you for your work on this channel. I am a physics major with no biology or chemistry background. I started a biophysics PhD that's only biochemistry classes for the first semester lol. It's been rough, but resources like your biochemistry videos have been helpful tools for filling in the background to what we have been covering in class.
