Cole, A Christmas gift suggestion for Brian. He said he would retire his coat last winter after calving season. Looks like he’s wearing it again after a half-futile laundering. I know he hates spending money on himself, so maybe you can get together with Tami and he could find a new coat under the tree. 😊
Of course you'll have to hide, burn or destroy the old one to keep him from wearing it. It's broken in, comfortable and he doesn't have to worry about getting it dirty😅.
@@neilwehling2154I bought a new carhartt hoodie a couple of weeks ago. It replaced two old ones, one with the hood ripped off both with holes and jammed zippers so you have to put them on over your head. All of them hang on the coat rack. But which one do I grab first? Not the new one, I don't want to get it dirty.
The video editing is getting good Cole. I also liked the angle of the cows exiting the trailer and how your dad introduced the song of the day. All good stuff.
Ya you're right Cole about that one “feed me” and they wouldn’t go through that gate way if their life depended on it. But just forget to latch the chain on a gate and your sitting in church all hell breaks loose.
One hell of a good video! If people can remember back to the show Name That Song, I think I could have had that one in two notes. Sorry and happy at the same time for cold weather to start coming on, the cold I can layer for but, you can only get so naked during the heat without air conditioning. Those detailing guys did a great job! That really does help with the value of your equipment.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting. Busy busy day for you two today moving cows around and fixing their waters and such. Great teamwork on you and dad and uncle Jeff getting the job done. You and dad have my compliments as very fine herdsmen for sure. Nice looking cattle you have that is for sure. Sometimes they go where you want them to and sometimes not but you all hung in there and got the job done. Getting fertilizer spreader is next task. Ready to go when you get a truck back. Thanks for the song of the day Brian. Appreciate the music and song. Thanks. About it I guess for now. Thanks for everything Sonne’s. You both take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
As always good to see the Jefferino working with y'all! It is a pleasure to watch you handle the cattle in an easy going manner with no hurahing and chasing. I really enjoy Sonne Farms and Storla Station. God Bless Y'all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving !
Great video Cole, Dad and Jeff are looking healthy. With all the improvements over the past few years, the Farms are looking great turn key operations. It's satisfying to me to see all of you working smoothly and safely 🙏 God Bless Sonne Farms and Families.
Hey it's Uncle Jeff! That head gate looked like it takes a little more work than the one you spoiled yourselves with at home! Always enjoy watching Sonne Frames!
Yeah, I know what your saying, some times cattle just can be a pain in the neck. I had to deal with a downed cow today, doesn't happen often, but it is always heart breaking. You did good though and got it done, congratulations on that. Thanks for the video, have a great evening!
An idea for a live stream this winter. How do you guys keep track (or manage) your bulls and cows. How do you know what bulls to put with which cows. If they aren't producing what goes into the decision process on what to change? When a heard cow dies or ages out and you replace it with one of your own, how do you protect the DNA line. I'm sure Cole took a class or two on this in college. As a non cattle rancher, this amazes me. I'm sure Grandpa Sonne did it all in his head but what about Cole? No slight intended!
Don’t know what causes it but the theme song to Raw Hide pops into my mind when I watch you move cattle. I guess that’s my song of the day. Haven’t seen many wild cows recently. Did they all go to hamburger?
We did this couple weeks ago after we ran hot wires. Keeping white tape electrified is proving to be challenging. Wind knocking The tape and insulators off Electric fence post.
The weather this year has been weird. It’s Mid November and it is 50. Not complaining, just would like to see some moisture too. The cattle will eat those stalks well this year. Nice video.
There's that good lookin' SOONER trailer! Sooner as in BOOMER SOONER as in RAH Oklahoma RAH OKLAHOMA RAH OKLAHOMA..O K U!! The cows look good, the bulls look phenomenal. Binge watching on New Years Eve. The biggest decision I had to make today was which pajamas was I going to put on to watch Sonne Farms videos in. Hey Jeff are you stove up? One thing leads to another, yes it does. Storla Station
I just had my new car Cerakot-ed and the underbody/frame sprayed with Dual Liner. I don't know about the rest of the US, but here in Indiana we use salt brine which is a salt slurry sprayed on roads to deice and it's horrible on anything it sits on. You can almost HEAR your car rusting! lol It was a little pricey but it should be well worth the investment. I tend to grow attached to my vehicles and run them long and hard. No better feeling than making that last car payment. Anyways, that should really help on your expensive tractors. If nothing else the crap you get in Minnesota should glide off with just plain ol' water. Nice.
I see some dry springs on your drive through gate ... If you were to put some oil on them now and again they would likely last indefinitely or at least a long long time .. Dry springs will snap ... oily ones will recoil .. just say'n .. Your roll up doors springs should also be kept moist with oil ..
Speaking of future building projects, Cole, are there any plans for building a Cole Junior or Baby Tiffany yet? I'm going to go out a limb here and predict you and Tiffany have all girls! The labor shortage continues on Sonne Farms!
Hi cole. I drive front loaders just like the one you got at my work. I thought I would let you know that yours might have 6 forward gears. Anyways love watching your videos.

What do you mean? It looks like the coat is just getting comfortable.

This Brian dislikes spending money on himself just get him a new one 😊🇺🇸
Needs an Ariat jacket

happy weekend guys
Ellie is a rock star! Best line of the video was, “Nope! Help!!” As the cattle decided to bum rush cole. 😂
Ya you're right Cole about that one “feed me” and they wouldn’t go through that gate way if their life depended on it. But just forget to latch the chain on a gate and your sitting in church all hell breaks loose.
Lol
Good luck spreading your fertilizer Sonne Farms

Great content as always. Being a part of your channel is better than tv.

9:00 Like the music sample, instantly remembered that song. Also reminds me of that 70's show, Name That Tune !
Great video Cole, Dad and Jeff are looking healthy.
With all the improvements over the past few years, the Farms are looking great turn key operations.

God Bless Sonne Farms and Families.
What a pretty spotted hound!
Hey it's Uncle Jeff! That head gate looked like it takes a little more work than the one you spoiled yourselves with at home! Always enjoy watching Sonne Frames!
Keep the GATE closed ON THAT COLD weather Cole …😂😂😂
Praying for a blessed Thanksgiving for your family.
That was one busy day! Whew! I’m tired & need a nap after watching all that!!
I never see skinny cows or calves at Sonne Farm. Always well fed & cared for cattle.
I love it when you work the cattle, and it brings back memories of helping Dad move hogs, and they aren't easy to move either,
Thank you Sonne farms!!!
Glad to see everything's gone so smoothly for you guys.
Thanks for sharing your video’s with us 😊

Shop till you drop, especially on the stroopwafels, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
U guys do a great job feeding them and taking care of them
I miss hearing “that’s all I have to say about that” but it’s awesome watching you guys.
Great video Cole and Brian
Love the “hup” sounds with the cattle sounds!
Moving them around is like a big cow puzzle…

Totally enjoyed watching the video Cole and Brian 😊
These cattle have beautiful conformation!!! We had registered black angus when I was growing up.
Don’t know what causes it but the theme song to Raw Hide pops into my mind when I watch you move cattle. I guess that’s my song of the day. Haven’t seen many wild cows recently. Did they all go to hamburger?

It looks so cold. I’m in the Northeast and it’s still 40 and 50 but it won’t be long before it’s 20s . Thanks for the video 😊
Thanks for the video.

How are the new round bale feeders working out so far? Thanks for sharing another great video!
Perfect
Hoorrah! Your dad listens to 'The Fixx'? He's just alright with me, man!! Cheers Sonne snr...
Dollar Investment in Cattle Handling Facilities, Equipment, and Maintenance must be staggering ! ! 12:38
THANK GOODNESS FOR THOSE ATVS!! GOOD WORK
Working the cattle, all so smoothly.
Lol'ed at the "Help!"
Great video 👍😮👍
Thanks and GOD BLESS 😀
How are those water tanks made out of tires? You guys have a good day.
I hope your father listen to all these songs. He does have a great list....👌
Great job getting those cows out on some free feed!
Good video and nice looking animals.
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊
Thanks
How do you calculate the feed value of a corn field of corn stalks when you’ve had a drought year and the corn was shorter and husks smaller?
Looking forward to the welding job.

Great video guys Cole, you made me laugh today. Pretty red cows you have.
Speaking of future building projects, Cole, are there any plans for building a Cole Junior or Baby Tiffany yet? I'm going to go out a limb here and predict you and Tiffany have all girls! The labor shortage continues on Sonne Farms!
Have you guys considered the JD 9 Series RT for better traction in winter?
Brian seems like he would be a low-key Katy Perry listener.
if low key means low interest.
lol
the new shine on your tractor, definetly worth doing before selling equipment, would get a lot higher buds i bet.
You should build a fold down work table so you can get off your knees when welding. Build it so it folds up against the was to save space.
good job!
Good job guys
How many head of cattle does Uncle Jeff have?
LOL. "Someone has been shopping" Go Tiff.
I think I like your working the cows videos best but I realize different seasons for different parts of farming
Brian have tried using using like a fish tank aeration in your water tanks. Could run off batteries with a cigarette lighter inverter for a car.
Your trailer looks like the 3rd battle of the Ypres took place in it! 😂
great song you chose brian .
Wow how many cattle do u guys have in all
It's funny how heifers go the right direction after they get tuckered out ! 😅😊
Hi cole. I drive front loaders just like the one you got at my work. I thought I would let you know that yours might have 6 forward gears. Anyways love watching your videos.
