Goodness. I did this trek back in 1996 and got completely SHOCKED (In a good way) that most of it now is bikeable. As I switch from backpack in the old days to bicycle nowadays, this sure will get on my bucket list again. Safe travels!
I did the trek in '96 as well-left my bike with a nice kid in Pokhara for a few weeks. Absolutely unbelievable that it's possible to ride the route now. Did you see the TOILET at 10:30? Unreal!
I did the Annapurna Base Camp trek in 1997. And this vid also now have me thinking of going back for the circuit on a bike! Amazing views and challenge.
Besides stunning scenery, great camera work, nice sense of humor, I also like the music, and the photography at the end. Very relaxing to watch (and listen).
Great video. I did this bike packing trip 5 years ago but took a different route. I went over the Tillicho Lake pass down to Johmson then back over throng La. Throng La is was better west to east, the descent down into Manang was superb.
I can honestly say thanks for bringing us into your world. The only bicycle adventrue I did was a solo ride across Canada. Nothing compares to what you just displayed and yet I did struggle in my own ways going across Canada. The amount of oxygen deprivation must have been overwhelming on that last summit. Stay safe and may the winds be mostly at your back.
Ohhh you must have seen a different guy :D I haven't been in Kathmandu when I was in Nepal in '22. Maybe it was Alvaro but I'm not sure if he was in Kathmandu either :)
What a beautiful video, in such challenging terrain and altitude! I know how hard that is, really well done. Watched the entire thing with appetite to ride the circuit some day.
Thank you for visiting and promoting Nepal tourism🇳🇵♥️.I have been to manang for trekking to tilicho lake.Must beautiful place and must visit destination if you are nature lover and adventure seeker. Keep inspiring.Keep making videos.❤ Love from Nepal🇳🇵♥️
I did this circuit by bike in november 2019... what a fantastic trip!! In your video I noticed that past Manang now they brought electricity!! When I was there the lodges run with solar power only
You’re an inspiration for me, what a beautiful ride! Hope we can cross paths one day! Thank you for the video and good luck with the busking and the festivals this summer 😎
This is one of the best videos I ve seen about the journey through the Annapurna Circuit. I ve completed the trekking 6 months ago on foot and your video brought back those fond memories of my journey. Great job man 👏
terrific! A very inspiring film! I did a section of this years ago on bike (and plane and foot!) Fly Pokhara t Jomson, then cycle to Jhakot, then walk to TL..... the mega descent to Beni!
I first did this trek in 1991 out of season in February with over a metre of snow all the way from Thorung Phedi - a real killer - the hardest thing I’ve ever done - falling repeatedly waist deep into the snow. I did it again in 2010 in season, with less snow, and it was comfortable. But that was without a bike! All credit to you, especially for your light-hearted manner and attitude. What happened to your nice titanium bike? Wouldn’t that have been lighter?
Man I Imagine this in snow 🤯 must have been tough. Though er than with the bike and no snow for sure :D the titanium bike is right now at home. But yes it would have saved me maybe about 1kg :)
I has the absolute pleasure of going this journey in 2011 on an old hardtail MTB. No so much track, a lot more hikimg with your bike on your back and no tarmac. It will forever be the best adventure I have ever achieved.
Thank you for taking the time to share your adventure with us. Wow - what a ride! I guess a lot of folk would suffer from altitude sickness at that height. Look forward to more adventures from India. Go safely.
Having trekked the whole circuit , plus up into the sanctuary and Annapurna base camp when it was mostly all trail before being blasted out in parts to give the area more accessibility . one wonders how one gets around the crazy new 2023 Nepalese rules re: everyone now must have a hired guide , will they have guides for adventure bikers also ?
I left my heart there, been four times, completed the circuit twice, saw snow leopard tracks, mother and child, near Thorung La, met the nicest people in the world and saw the most magic mountains. N-E-P-A-L = Never Ending Peace And Love. Maybe I'll go back and die there, close to Heaven. Namaste!
Gänsehaut beim zugucken. Du bist so krass.
Really enjoyed watching this. Brought back memories of trekking to Everest Base Camp (north side) in 2000 ... and bumping into the odd crazy cyclist along the way! :) Congrats on an epic ride!
I DIN'T SKIP A MINTUTE ! WOW WHAT A JOURNEY

I was doing it early December last year. Later in December its gonna be more snow up there and more cold.
