Thank you so much! I hope the ants don't do you any harm and only help you out, especially with the container gardening. Have a great weekend! ~Stephanie

Everything is looking so good over there Steph! Hate to see the ants are causing some problems. Stay out of that poison this year! LOL... Keep up the great work and hope you have an awesome rest of the week.

Definitely going to try to stay away from it this year lol and the last two times we went to pick up wood it was covered in poison ivy! Thank you so much, I put DE down today hoping it may help a little at least on the surface. Have a great weekend! ~Stephanie

Borax for the ants. Possible club root for the brassicas. Push soil firmly around all plants. When transplanting compact soil under the transplants. Perhaps you did just a tip in case.

I had done a some compacting when planting, but now I am doing more! I've been pushing the soil back down around each plant every day now making sure that it stays compact, trying to be as persistent as they are lol I didn't have any borax on hand, but did put down baking soda mixed with powdered sugar a few days ago and it seemed to decrease them a little and put down DE today, so hoping that helps a bit. Thanks so much for the ideas and tips! Have an awesome weekend! ~Stephanie

There's no such thing as to many or too long a garden video! When I'm not in my garden, I sit outside and watch my garden, or watch videos on my phone about other peoples gardens while sitting in the yard by my garden. With all that, You'd think I'd be a better gardener by now. :) nope.
What about borax & sugar for your ants? Not sure of the environmental impact, but a lot of people use it. It is a naturally occurring substance, but then again so is arsenic, Lol.
What about some compost tea to water the cabbages that didn't get the good stuff? Just kickin' ideas around, you're way more knowledgable than I am, so I doubt I ever say much you haven't already considered.
Did you find a place to sell your extra veggie and marigold plants? Any luck with that? Good video, take care, God bless.

Great ideas! I put out some powdered sugar and baking soda (didn't have any borax on hand) a few days ago and they seemed to decrease a little and put down DE today, so hopefully that will help too. Good idea with the compost tea, I need to get into making that. I did find a few places for selling the extras :) part of what's been keeping me extra busy this year, trying not to get in over my head lol Have and awesome weekend and God bless! ~Stephanie
