Literally cried when big brother woahed
Thats such a great moment in this movie. And I love that it said "for brothers everywhere"
Same
wish I had a brother like that instead of a selfish sister
the lyrics for this song is the song he wrote the lyrics. The guy is a frickin legend!
I really like how they were heading in the wrong direction, but then that ocean liner just stopped em in their tracks and gave them proper direction. It really correlated with how the band was heading toward the wrong direction of a cover band, but then his brother stepped in and set them on the right path of original music. Also reflects that scene where his brother let him know how he streamlined his path for him, by breaking in their parents to music (as well as proving extensive music experience). Honestly this movie was amazing!
I like your comment, too
Wow i didn't really cop that....genius
I liked, but then i took my like back cuz it was 69
Such a beautiful and underrated movie.
The small boat following the ferry is good symbolism for the brotherly message of the movie. Really fun film. As an older brother I'm not embarrassed to say I always cry at the end either.
I love this ending, but at the same time i felt bad for Brendan, he was smart and so proud of Cosmo.
I think he deserved better.
Brendan was a shut-in. He finally left the house so he could take Conor and Raphina to the port. He took his first step toward redeeming his own life.
Most underrated film in history
When his big brother fist pumps the air at the end. Kills me every time. I like to think in my head he makes it big. And his brother joins his band in wales ❤️ amazing movie
Maybe doesn't make it big.... but definitely makes it ✌️
2:42 This sums up the movie. His brother fulfilling the dream that he could not
this movie expresses delicately the mind of high school students .Great!I cant say other words.
Very underrated movie. Love the big brother
This is one of my favorite endings of one of my favorite movies
Her presence is charisma.
chrasms
I just did this to with brother this morning, I gave him a ride because he moved to the big city for work while I stay in my city to work here and take care of family. I hope he make it out there. House gonna be quite empty but, for a good reason. I'm not the talking type with my brother. A good bye is quite sucks and I'd rather keep it to myself because I don't want to cry in front of him for this good bye.
Go brother! Do what I can’t do!
Love that melody at the start
trying rlly hard to find the score to hear it
@joshknowsnothing yeah me too, haven't find it, even with Shazam
The ending is the best and the saddest yet. He just left his friends in the band. Except raphina. They will be best parents in the future
He technically was going to come back assuming in this perfect world they get a record deal and the rest is history lol
They’re definitely not having kids, that would completely derail their lives. See what his brother said in their bedroom about the jet engine thing.
Such a beautiful film
Mad props🤫🤔🐳Director, John carney, he gets, the whole coming of age.....Special, chemistry between ferdia & lucy, every character is special, and played a part, love the little red-head kid.
Lucy, does well in music movies, even ballet shoes - has music.
Hahaha, conor's becoming a man - at the end. With, the robert wagner sorta swag, the hair, the turtleneck, lol.
Love this movie so much. Thanks for uploading the ending!
It doesn’t show it in the movie but this was its way of saying his brother almost did that exactly but as show and said in the movie he stayed to take care of him bc the parents were toxic
man, your comment made me cry, I didn't notice that
It reminds me of the movie papillon; one go, one must stay.
A Nice Movie.
O irmão dele foi shoew...emocionante ❤❤❤
Crna emocionante❤❤❤❤
I love this sceen
I know that there's nothing that could top this... but come on... Sing street Part 2 please?
yes pls
Whaaaat? No
@@carloshiram9527😂 Come on man, don't you want to know how they did in England? If the band ever made it big?
No way! This is one of a kind. Not everything needs a sequel.
Where Raphina Leaves connor for greener pastures and the boys are back to square one lol
I really wish I had this relationship with my brother
We all do, unfortunately very few people are like Brendan

A young Harold and Maude.
That is a rough and harsh Irish sea, I'm presuming they both drowned and died as I can't see any other plausible outcome.
I worried about that initially, but if you watch right near the ending, you can see that the weather is about to clear :)
But how far is it to Wales? Conor says 30 miles, but Google says twice as much. Even if they overcome the storm, how much gas mileage does that little boat get? Plus Raphina can’t swim.
@@FireMinstrel Rapina CAN swim, she said she can't because she wanted Cosmo to jump to save her
You cut it before the dedication ☹️ big mistake.
But can anyone explain why they wanted to go to England? I mean her ex had a nice car but he left all that behind and fled? And the ML and FL also ran without anything to England when they already had a place to live and food to eat in their hometown, the girl even had a car. Need help, guys.
They left cus they felt like they didn't have a future in ireland, like they couldn't achieve their dreams there. It happened a lot in ireland at that time
I grew up in Ireland during the 80s and believe me, there was a lot less opportunity back then, especially as he wanted to make it in music and her in modeling... they would've had a better shot in England.
@@soulsurfer639 they should have gone to america
@@tonato17 😂 Absolutely 💯
Would Sing Street 2 be released maybe 10 years later in the year 1995 in that story. Conor will be a young adult.
Love how you copy and pasted the description from Wikipedia
KKofi MMatson xD
want him to type it up himself?
What do you want? A 15-page original essay?
