I ran a griffin SOB for 3 years along with a Sprinco Blue spring and Riflespeed adjustable gas block in my main squeeze 12.5 mid gas. The rubber end started to degrade recently. I’m a suppression nerd that likes to keep my bolt in lockup as long as possible and I just changed to a regular H3. Will be taking it out this Saturday to test with my CGS SCI SIX, CAT WB and CAT ODB.
Ohhh don’t let my camera man know you have the CAT cans. He’s a huge fan boi of them
@@shootintheshtpodcast yeah, the PewScience data solidified my choice to purchase them. I’ve shot the ODB on my 300blk and it’s the quietest can I’ve shot in its size range. It’s not as quiet as the big hitters like the CGS Hyperion, Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen L or the Q Full Nelson. But at 7.2 inches, it’s not far from the performance of those other cans.

Grow up little boy and stop spewing immature disgusting filth in your channel name!
How pathetically unprofessional, uneducated, disrespectful, immoral, and Godless, thus anti-American.
How sad to know your father and mother failed to raise you to be a real man, a true gentleman of moral character. Instead you sound like just another ignorant BLM street thug who failed English vocabulary.
Give the Tubbs flat wire spring a go and see what you think.
Well how did you like the Griffin buffer?
I've tried everything over the years to tame gas . BRT EZ Tube Gas Tube is what I use . Works extremely well . Only caveat is they do need to be swapped every 10k or so rounds.
Every single adj Gas Block I've ever owned has carbon locked on me and Adj BCG for me I wished has 2 or 3 more settings.
BRT EZ tune is my personal favorite route to explore on Carbines I want to tame the gas ..
Yeah, I have a feeling I’ll need to go down that route eventually, I just don’t wanna 😭
Why do you have to change after 10k rounds??
@@easommeador492 gas tubes have an expected life. When you use the gas tube to restrict the rounds it will wear down like your gas port and it will erode. They say about 10 to 15K is around the expected life of those tubes
@@easommeador492 Gas will erode the Tube just like gas will erode the gas port
This is awesome because I want to build a 10.5 upper for suppression later
Have an old dd mk18 with big gas. Run the bootleg inc setting S, and gen 1 sob and mil carb spring. Runs awesome, ar sob rear buffer pad and washer destroyed after 500 Rd’s suppressed with socom rc2. In process for gen2 sob. The bootleg adj bcg is magic
Great content keep it up!
Thank you

I've had the same problem with freedom munitions reman. I just buy the new stuff now
should have written down your arm 2 3 4 5 to keep your arm in place and show ejection direction
🤣 yeah, I should’ve. Would’ve probably been better to show you guys
Have you tried any of these combos on the URGI yet? Would love to hear the optimal buffer/spring for that build (for my own selfish reasons..😂)
I have not, I will be doing that soon. I am waiting on my scope base to come in, I returned the last one because it wasn’t what I wanted
Thanks. I just picked one up for a 12.5 and i'll see how it does. Just a qwerk i need to mention... don't say "honestly" and "to be honest" so much. it discredits everything else you say when you DON'T say it. Your whole review we should take as being honest. Perhaps say something like "my thoughts...." or "i believe" etc. Thanks for the review
@@zeromaz6618 I’ll do what I can
My 11.5 griffin mk2 is perfectly gassed
Bufferless only tho cmmg dissent or mcx
Any recommended setup for a DD Mk18 upper using stock gas block and running a SF RC2? I tried a bootleg bcg but it turned the rifle into a picky ammo eater, wouldn't cycle 223 or weaker 556 ammo. I currently have the Geissele super 42 w/ H3 buffer and it still ejects at 1pm. Giving that's my SHTF rifle, I have to make sure all ammo works on it.
Well to be honest it’s always going to be a beast, unless you get an RC3 or a Hux you’ll never have decent gassing on a 10.3. You can’t run the bootleg in any of its setting to cut down on gas? But not fully run it suppressed setting? It has 4 setting on it
The only other thing I would recommend is the LMT enhanced carrier. It has more vent holes in the carrier to cut down on over gassing for carbine systems. I’d recommend giving that a try maybe.
@@shootintheshtpodcast Nope, using 223 or weak 556, it won't cycle unless i turn the setting to full unsurpressed. It's all or none, lol. I'm researching the flow through cans, I may just get the RC3 since I'm a SF fanboy, lol
@@shootintheshtpodcast I've looked at that, I may give it a try.
@@racingdc9 I would try the carrier before going full tilt on an RC3 but it does look like an amazing can
