Just started testing out springs and buffers and stuff have to try some of the springco stuff . Good video
If you want to keep the front sight on that 11.5 you could go for a restrictive gas tube from Black River Tactical. Edit: you mention at 19:40 you don't want to use it. I do want to leave my comment up for the community's sake.
Yeah, we may eventually try that. But I wanna show people what they can do to mitigate it in the meantime so they don’t have to hopefully spend as much or take apart their gun if they aren’t as confident
Great content and informative.. I’m a lefty when shooting rifles but right handed when coming to pistols. I have been following you for a while now because of another friend suggested that I follow you, @its.millar.time….. I’m just getting into silencers and the joy they can bring.. and the flow through cans look 👀 interesting …. Keep up the great work……..
Well thank you to millar, and thank you, I’ll keep putting out all the info I can find
I run an H3 buffer in my 11.5”, and the recoil is still quite noticeable. Not uncontrollable, but more present than something longer. I could upgrade the spring as well but dunno how that’d do with my Franklin trigger.
Never an issue with Freedom Munitions, it runs.
You could try ADM 10 position buffer along with the tungsten buffer weight to add room for the spring to collapse.
The e brake tames the punch down a good bit
You need a h4 buffer and the sprinco orange spring
You have the coolest gear
Thanks, I try to get you guys the most relevant stuff. If you guys have any questions I can answer in a video. Let me know
What rail on that 13.9? Looks like a Midwest 2 piece but no fsb cut? I want one
@@6daemonic6 it is that rail
Id highly recommend the Giselle super 42 braided spring just keep in mind you’ll need the Giselle buffer as well they come together if not your risking your buffer getting stuck in the tube
@@bignick47331 yeah, if you watch I talk about this. The Geissele buffer and spring come together, and the SOB system is a heavier buffer then an H2 but not as heavy as an H3 and I’m running with a red spring
Yo. Im rockin a super 42 h3 in my 10.3 v7p with a recce 5 mod 4, it runs great. 3 o clock ejections
Griffin makes the best mil spec bcg on the market in my opinion
I’ve got a Geissele 14.5 build with a super 42 with the h3 and with the sandman s and 5.56 flash cap it won’t reliably lock the bolt back
Go down to an H2 or H1. Geissele barrels have small gas ports for reliability with an H1 that they send with it. H2 for suppressed and H1 for unsuppressed.
TYPING IN ALL CAPS TO BE SEEN BY SHOOTIN' THE SH!T Maybe I missed it, but of all the combinations tested, I would have liked to have seen a comparison with the SOB using the S42, the Blue, and the Red spring. Maybe the SOB w/ the S42 might be better than the red or blue and be like shooting a pillow!
The only SOB buffer you can run with the super 42 is the rifle length spring, with the carbine length super 42 or only fits Geissele buffers. Due to it needing to take a smaller diameter buffer
@@shootintheshtpodcast Thanks for the fast response. I did some research and according to some the G buffer is almost exactly the same diameter (unless something's changed), it *might fit. Were you able to try a test fit? Not questioning you, but I'm seeing different answers in different places and it's confusing.
@@bmarshall1378 yup, I tried. It didn’t fit.
@@shootintheshtpodcast I figured you would have tried given how thorough you were but I just had to ask, thanks!
@@bmarshall1378 no problem man, I like to test anything I can. So if I miss something I always like to know. I hope I was able to help. Thank you for watching
Get the a5 buffer system!
I don’t think you watched the video
Have you had the chance to shoot it without the can? 👀
Hello. What kind of rail is that?
There’s 4 guns in the video, which one?
what trigger you running in the 13 there guy??
Geissele SSA-E
@@shootintheshtpodcast dude me too!! Love the ssa-es
So would you say for a 13.9 system with a H2 buffer you would run a Red spring or Blue
@@DylonWilliams-gn1yw I assume you’re running a non low back pressure can, if so they yes I’d recommend a red spring. If you are running a flow through can. I would run a white or blue. Whichever is more reliable
@@shootintheshtpodcast what if no can at the moment but will be running a Lahar 30 can in the future when I leave IL lmao
@@DylonWilliams-gn1yw then just run the blue if your rifle functions and when you finally get your can, then test it with what makes it the most reliable and the least gas
@@shootintheshtpodcast much appreciated brother!
@@DylonWilliams-gn1yw no problem, let me know
