      Yes! Me too lol she teaches things that I have struggled with my whole life. Plus she’s gorgeous, smart, witty and if they have a room in the pool house I have put myself up for adoption LMAO

    Gosh, great ideas! Especially using pizza pan to put crust into pie dish after rolling!! This is the hardest part for me! Also letting crust rest!! Thanks! I like your quick little shorts!!!

      Also known as, I am today years old and just learned about inverting the pie plate to catch the pie dough. Who knew?

    Don't trim the crust before you put it in the pie pan! I trim after it's in the pan, then I roll it flat put butter sugar and cinnamon on it and then roll it up like a little cinnamon roll curve it and put it in another pie pan and cook that for about 15 minutes. My grandma called it a fight over! You have to cut it as soon as it comes out cuz it's pretty tough, made with the twice roll dough.

      I was taught to roll up the pastry over the rolling pin then line is up onto the pie dish but this would be better for those less confident since the pastry can easily tear

    I've always have done this. It makes it so much easier to roll the crust and transfer without tearing it. And no cleaning a board or counter with flour.

    Since dough is only cold why not just use way less expensive wax paper as opposed to far more expensive parchment paper? Or even better a large format silicone baking mat that you can reuse? Just a thought to save $$$
