- Round wooden bars and conical poles can be easily made.
Inexpensive and simple construction.
If you want to make a round bar shorter than the jig, cut it later or increase the length of the bolt.

All plywood thicknesses are 15 mm.
Bolts are M8. The bearings were fixed with two-component epoxy adhesive.
A slightly larger sized circular saw would be more suitable.
Be careful not to overload the table saw and injure yourself. - Навчання та стиль

動画を見ていただきありがとうございます😊
とにかくすぐに丸棒が作れます。サンドペーパーもかけやすいです。
動画の途中のCMは、たしか8分以下の動画だと入らないと思いますよ。
Muito bom parabéns
Obrigado.
The ability to tilt the axis of the stock in order to create conical forms is clever! It makes me want to see what you could do with even more degrees of freedom. If you could rotate the whole assembly relative to the saw blade (like you'd do with a miter sled), you could cut some interesting concave elliptical profiles. It might be tricky, however, to keep the blade from colliding with the jig.
Muito bom!
Obrigado.
Creative and handy. Nice work from a fellow content creator. Liked and subscribed! 👍🏼

Keterampilan yang sangat bagus, rekan-rekan👍👍

Good Job....
You gotta be kidding me... This is WAY UNDER-WATCHED & UNDERRATED... I think the TITLE & THUMBNAIL need to be reconsidered for this to become yet another multi-millions viral video. I believe this can be adjusted without sacrificing your current views....
My opinion: the thumbnail DID NOT make it clear to me that I’d be learning to create an actual LATHE (or lathe-like device) and the title did nothing to clarify this confusion. Therefore, I hesitated to click on this video, and something tells me other people are doing the same.
It’s difficult to explain in a comment instead of verbally or visually..
For the title, I think your focus needs to be on the fact that this is a DIY *”WOODTURNING LATHE”* as your baseline, and adjust it from there - meaning find a clear & clever way to explain that it is actually a “table saw lathe”...
I would REMOVE the bit about “conical poles” completely. Let your thumbnail show this, OR just let your video speak for itself.
That being said: The thumbnail needs to SHOW MORE...
The first idea that came to mind was to portray your rectangular wood workpiece and then an arrow to the various shapes you can turn them into using your lathe (this is where you’d show off the conical pole and others) - this is INSTEAD OF hiding the finished work off to the side of your inactive lathe (which overpowers the thumbnail, yet fails to explain anything!) (which, btw, is really the entire challenge here)..
More to say...
Good idea 👍✔️✔️
I need one that can do 6 feet. Wonder how practical that would be.
Very good
Thank you!
The first time I saw a "hack" which isn't only a
death trap. This on is a clever and useful death trap 😅
Come on, detachable hardware turning next to a running blade. A non-fixed wooden sled pushed by hand. All of that for moving wood sidewalks against the saw blade.
I have to build that 😜
👍👍👍👍
Thnks for watch

Thia is quite genious I must say. Thanks for sharing the video. How many times was the video sped up (2 times, 4 , 8 ?)
What RPM is needed for the drill?
Thank you very much.
I am playing the video at 2x speed when the material is 45mm square.
I used a drill with an RPM of 2300. But I am not sure if this RPM is appropriate.
@@YASUHIROTV Thanks for your quick reply.
