  • I made a simple circlar saw guide with a small timber(15mmx30mm)
No special tool is necessary, a handsaw and drill are the only tools you will use to make this.
FIY: I used a finish nailer to attach timbers in the video, you can use any screws instead.
    Jig plan convenient for woodworking

Kudos for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you ever tried - Schallingora Dexterous Programme Scheme (probably on Google)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for building any shed in no time with no experience without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 finally got amazing success with it.

I made it today. It does indeed make perfectly straight cuts. I find it works best if the piece you are cutting is the same depth as the pieces in the jig.

Great idea for simple cross cuts. I am going to make one. If you turn the bolt around, and make a recess for washer and head, you will be able to get the butterfly nut on the opposite side. Or you can make a recess to glue the head of the bolt into the wood. Then the guide can stay flush on the table, so only the part that needs to be cut off, will stick out. This gives better balance. You just have to make sure the bolt is not too tall and in the way of the circular saw engine.

Great idea. I would flip the wing nut and bolt over though. Just recess the bolt head flush with the surface of the board. That allows you to put much more of the jig and work piece on the bench for better stability. You could even use a rigid foam panel underneath and lay the whole thing on top of the bench. You tighten and loosen the wing nut from the top so you don't need to pick up the jig and work piece to remove the jig. Just loosen the nut and lift up the jig. You can even make it a bit more "arthritis friendly" by getting a knob to replace the wing nut. Wing nuts are hard on the fingers when my arthritis flairs up. Thanks for a really clever idea. I'm a subscriber and have picked up a lot of great ideas and made a few jigs seen on your channel.
