    It is interesting how woodworking videos differ from Japan, US and Europe.
    I really like the pace and the feel of Japanese videos. Very creative. Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing.

    I always love how each one you build gets used on subsequent jigs. So cool to see it build up like that.

    You do a beautiful job of presenting these techniques on video. Some of the finest channels on UA-cam are the ones with no voice, just demonstration, and doing it this well is very difficult. Thank you for all of the work and thought that goes into such fine videos!

    I was a little worried about installing the blade after reading a couple of reviews. But it was amazingly easy. Took about 1 minute. Works great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxjpBI8OOeUXib_iT7UomCrQ-uauwZJ62c . Cuts easily and is perfect for pocket cuts I needed to make for replacing some old deck boards.

  • @starseeddeluxe
    @starseeddeluxe Рік тому +1

    1:12. Guys, that is why you use a right blade saw. Right blade saws are NOT for left handed people. Notice how the wide part of the shoe and the weight of the motor is supported by the supported piece of wood that is held in your left hand? This method provides the most accurate cut without any binding of the blade or burning of the wood, or blade marks.

      Look at his Makita saw. It looks like the most expensive saw in the world. I've never see a Makita saw that looks like that in the USA. I want one!!! That thing looks amazing. I guess Makita just gives American people the clunkers.

    Please can you post similar videos for other commonly used tools - Drills, etc. I'm new to DIY and just discovering there are so many types of 'jigs' (or whatever else they may be called by experienced users) for different types of home tools.... Cheers mate.

    I love these, especially that straight cut guide. ¿Do you have something as an adjustable thickness cut edge guide (for cutting fixed width strips, or ripping a 2x4), please? Thank you for making and posting this video. I will use your ideas. (Hope you don't mind). Thank you. (Also, instead of tapping a thin surface plate (of your saw), perhaps using PEM-studs. Just a thought). Thank you again. Your work is excellent. God [Bible] Bless you.

    For anyone who has not drilled or tapped metal, I highly suggest practicing on some scrap before attempting your saw's base plate. If you opt for a combination drill/tap bit, spend the extra money and get a good-quality bit. The cheapo brand will likely not give you a good tapped hole and will wear out quickly.
