- I had a request to show how to play the rhythm chords and guitar licks in Train Train by Blackfoot. Here is a detailed look at how to play these guitar riffs.
I Like your style of teaching your one of the easiest teachers to follow on UA-cam and you nail the tone and feel of the Jam,, Thanks for sharing .......
Finally! Someone actually got it right in a sea of Blackfoot Train Train lessons on YT. 😁👏👍
Love a bit of blackfoot buddy greetings from Northern Ireland
Been playing this 30 yrs and yours is more on than mine lol, oh well...thanks dude! I have corrected my wayward ways.
That was great! I've been trying to learn it since you posted. Gotta love Blackfoot. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback. Rock on!!
Excellent video! Thank you! Any chance of making a video of the lead parts? It sure would help!
Outstanding! I love your no nonsense videos. Spot on accuracy. And some of the fastest fingers I have seen.
Thanks man and thanks for watching!
I absolutely love this song.
Thanks for posting, nice lesson! You play the stuff I like.
👍 fun song to jam with friends and trade solos! Thanks
if you listen closely, the G and F# chords are actually just the 4th intervals on the A and D strings not the three note G5/F# power chords (D & G, C# & F#).. sounds quite a bit tighter
Excellent job bro ! TY ! Your a great instructor, 😎✌️🎸🎶🎶🎶💕
Beautiful SG.
Awesome song!
Thanks brother! Well done. I need some guitar therapy tonight.
Really cool. I do believe that you have cow bells coming out the Sunburst. Sounds like a tune in progress. Thanks for I r the quick tips & lesson. Rock on ☠🤠...
I believe that riff in the intro transitioning from E to A has a little more going on. He's definitely hitting E on the D string 2nd fret on that run
Thank bro,nice tutorial!
Such a kick ass song! ✨ Thanks
Dang that SG sounds great. There's a genuine Gibson in white down at the pawn shop for 600 I've been wrestling with, this convinced me it sounds better than my 350 ESP L.P. ...so...*sale*
Can you do a lesson on Blackfoot's Left Turn On a Red Light ?
Hey dude I have been playing since I was 8 years old I'm 61 now and you didn't sandbag around you didn't make it like it was a talking idiot I like it I play that song and I agree with you 100% good job brother
Hey thanks man! 👍
Helpful. Thank you.
sure would love to see some Thin Lizzy / Brian Robertson stuff jail break Bad reputation
“The soothing light you see........is just a freight train train coming your way”
Black foot chugging way back in the day
Excellent...
Thank you Sir!
Awesome. I wonder if you would ever consider learning and showing us "Green eyed Lady" by Sugarloaf. I didn't see it in your vids.
That would be so cool.
Fantastic video good job ... very informative! Any chance you could do a lesson on Blackfoot's "Diary of a working man "
also the turnaround riff, i don't think there's a G# note in there.. it should be low E, then hammer on G (on low E), then open A, hammer on B, then C#, pull off to B, pull off to open A, back to low G, pull off to E, then hit the A chord (mixolydian scale)..
Diary of a working man is one of my favorites , yes please !
Katana amp? Amp nails tone doistortion! U good Players! Thanks slide lead in open E?
I would like to learn Sail Away by Blackfoot. Could you teach us?
Your tone kicks ass! What are you running that SG through?

Dude, that was really good, thx for sharing your talent, btw, have you ever heard of Aldo Nova, one of his songs " Cant stop loving you:" the lead solo is wonderful, check it out when you can, lead comes in at 2:40, reply if you can, thx!
I checked it out. Pretty good solo. I remember his song fantasy. That has a good solo too.
I've been playing it with a slide...on my sg

Are you using a pedal?
No. Boss gt-001
Slow your "actual speed" some.
You should buy a mentronome first.
