Our van now has swivels that allow the driver and passenger seat to swivel and create a more open space! We've already used them and they function perfectly!
So cool getting as far as I could without ANY INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED and then came here and - so far so good! I'll let you know how it goes - thanks for the time you put into this to eh? Cheers!
I HATE those 1 inch bits. I throw them in the lake. I'm going to be doing this swivel on my 2020 Transit. Invest in a battery tool system for a grinder and impact wrench, dude!
Correct. I didn't find a way to make it work and so far have had no need for it. Also, there were ZERO instructions included with the seat swivels from Scopema. Take care!
Nice - how smoothly did yours turn? I think I need to balance mine with washers to get the action smoother - its grates/sticks a bit sometimes. Oh I also cut 10mm off the slider rails of the chair so they don't hit the door trim when the door is closed - you could do it with a hacksaw or angle grinder and it has no negative effect on the chair sliding.
Wow! Only 32 minutes for the passenger seat installation! Did I hear you say it rubbed a little on the side vinyl? If so, did you decide to trim the vinyl? If not, how has it "worn" with the rubbing?
Umm,, an uneducated comment. Never saw a battery under the seat. All Transits like this? So how do you jump start? Changing a battery you have to remove a seat?
crazy design! Yes, you have to pull the seat to change the battery. Fortunately I'm a pro at removing the seat now! To jumpstart you use the contacts under the hood. Easy to do. Thanks for watching!
@@donttradeyears6 you actually don't have to remove the seat to change the battery... there's a movement stop at the front of the seat... this allows the seat to move forward more. enough to get the battery out. Mine is dual battery it works, PITA but it worked.
The "yeah" look is how we all feel after something finally working. Well done.

Yes. I'm an unappreciated rock star specializing in judas priest and van halen
So Scopema sent a bracket to lower the E-brake and you’re not using it?

They're smooth but I really like your idea of shortening the rails!

The driver side install is quite a bit more complicated. Haven't done anything with the "rub" except be careful not to hit!
Nice t shirt
