Winston is a dog I rescued. He was born at the recycling center. I picked him up when I went to recycle some cans. That ear gets everyone. He is a blast and can be quiet the handful sometimes.
@@TattooUniversity ♥♥Winston♥♥ Thanks for these videos, I'm learning A WHOLE LOT! never could fully grasp some technical concepts and you made it all really clear, so big thanks from Argentina
I love the way you explain everything so thoroughly. Iv been watching alot of ur videos for a couple years now. And u remind me so much of my step father he was a tinkerer he always had to know how everything worked piece by piece very smart he built his own sawmill in his yard starting with a chain saw motor. I loved listening to him and learning stuff. Sorry off subject. So it's been nice watching your videos and learning how everything works on a tattoo machine b4 ur videos I woulda never been able to tune and rebuild my own tatt guns
I'm glad I can help. Tattoo machine basics and tuning are overlooked a lot. That is why I try to focus on that subject. More videos will be coming soon. I'm reorganizing and making things better for the next go round.
Your spot on here. Thank you for putting this out. As your right about the whole trying to learn so much at one time. It has been frustrating and I feel as if I have not really gotten that much better yet
No disrespect but in my opinion ppl should only take advice from mentors like you if you actually upload your own work to gauge what kind of a teacher they’re learning from. There’s so many tattoo mentors on UA-cam who claim to know what their talking about but there own work doesn’t suggest that lol. Oliver ayre actually Talk’s the talk and walks the walk. Again no disrespect
bruh ahaha .. I really like your vids but bro what happened in this vid lol its all over the place I was shyttin myself laughing... piranha is freshwater sharks are in the ocean ... that diagram never got finished or explained its just like you got over it and said foook it and end vid lol I really liked it for comedy and you refer to that chalkboard like 4 times oh man .. I know your a good teacher and your vids are helping me so please don't take offence ..we never discussed the book either hahahah
You are 100percent correct. Its impossible to fit everything in one video. Sometimes it is just better to get the idea out there and expand on it more later
I get what your saying but it's messed up when it's hard to get an apprenticeship in the first place and once you do more times than not they use ya like a slave doing all there bitch work that has nothing to do with tattooing. Like cleaning they're garage, etc..... Mean while your treated lower than dog shit. That's the problem. I mean every shop could use a good apprentice.
A good shop will teach you properly and get you headed the right direction. If a shop treats you this way I wouldn't stay. Real teachers will pick you up. They don't tear you down.
You and Ben fisher is where it’s at
Your the best nick. 😂. You will fall into the piranhas. I don’t think skipping steps in learning to tattoo sounds right at all
I don't think there are piranha in the ocean but I watch a lot of horror movies. Reminded me of a movie.
Dude, that dog is the cherry on top♥ I just died with those ears

Hey bro you still teaching ? If so I’d love to get in contact , you teach well or I learn off u easy
Great vid, whiteboards easier to use in my opinion.
I've actually just downloaded that and some other programs. Will be using them in future videos. Just decided to go old school on this one.
