I was waiting for this fantastic video a long time now. Loved every bit of it. Fog King is 100% a Gnosis I mean come on it even uses the moves Agnost beam and Convergence beam. Hints like that just confirm it. Interesting about the Ghosts in X though.... I always also thought every Xeno game has a Gnosis like entity. When I first played Xenoblade I was even shouting wait a minute MONADO ENCHANT IS BASICALLY JUST THE HILBERT EFFECT. So you can imagine Future connected got me incredibly happy when Shulk used the Hilbert effect. Now the question is.... is KOS-MOS coming back in Xenoblade 3? As the smartest blade and probably the first blade to land on Alrest I feel it is very likely. We know that her driver died climbing the world tree.... is her driver Shion? Either way it is not known but hinted at in the Alrest Artbook and that's why KOS-MOS and T-ELOS STILL know eachother.

Hm, very interesting! I don't know if I'll end up playing Gears or Saga, probably not for a long time, so I really appreciate you showing off these cool connections between all the games. Mind is blown 🤯
When you mentioned the double slit thing, it makes sense because double slit involves waves behaving differently, and when light waves are involved, it gets really weird with our current solid theories on physics, because some detected area's of where the light waves/photons hit were influenced by light waves/photons that came *after*, since it was determined to be incredibly random and practically super positions. It makes sense something heavily-dependent on solid numbers would be weak to double slit waves.
Very interesting thoughts. Every Xeno video you come out with makes me more excited for whats to come in the xeno franchise. Still waiting for that X switch port though!!
There's a lot of fans that believe Xenoblade Chronicles X to be a reboot of Xenogears Perfect Works Episode 1. If you aren't familiar with Perfect Works, there are plenty of coherent summaries to get you caught up. How does this pertain to Xenosaga? Xenosaga was Takahashi's attempt to rewrite Perfect Works so he could work out the kinks/plot holes that bugged him. Unfortunately, Xenosaga sales didn't justify continuing after Episode 3. That's when work on Monado: Beginning of the World started and Takahashi kind of relented that his Perfects Works would probably never be...perfected. That was until the commercial success of Xenoblade Chronicles 1 happened. A lot of people want these remakes and remasters, and that's all fine and dandy. But what the Xeno series needs more than anything, is a Xenoblade Chronicles X-2. A game that has the potential to tie it all together (or at the very least, put the Xeno series on a coherent canonical path). Sorry for the ramble. It's hard not to word vomit when talking about the Xeno series lol
Sorry to comment on this old video but it's still relevant as hell. So with the Fog still mostly unsolved.. (A says in Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed that while Alpha has control of the fog and born of the Black Fog, they are ORIGINALLY SOMETHING THAT SHOULDN'T EXIST! And then in Xenoblade 3's main game the Fog beasts dont ever come back/emerge out of the black fog. The only answer is that they are Gnosis and not of Bionis/Alrest origin. They are left purposefully vague for the future.... and KOS-MOS has returned supposedly. What better gynoid to combat another Gnosis like threat on a grand scale? If Alpha was powerful enough to control them temporarily we might be in for a real threat in the future on the level of Gnosis from Xenosaga. I dont want to say with absolute confidence that the Fog is coming back but with how vague they left it in FR and Future Connected.... it makes you really think. The Zohar is out there in XenobladeSaga 4. We still dont even know why Moebius hate the Fog itself other than they fear dying since they are the collective unconscious of the people fearing dying by the collision. We could assume that's all there is to the Fog and it was a direct cause of the worlds coming together but with A's explanation in FR there's just so much more. If they originally shouldn't exist then what dimension are they from? I think it is time you make a update for this video :D
Now that 3 is out, yeah... not quite the same thing in this one though, but there was one element that was just directly lifted from Saga that I'm glad I was aware of beforehand.
I mean, it may not the *first* game to be inspired by Carl Jung, but Persona did start out as a series two years before Xenogears even came out, so it's not entirely wrong. Jungian psychology in general is a very interesting topic that can allow for a variety of interpretations (and I say this as a massive fan of both Megaten and Xeno). Heck, NiGHTS Into Dreams also handles Jungian Psychology, and it first came out two months before Persona 1 did
I'm glad you finished another scripted video since I love all of these. I look forward to seeing if anything significant comes from the gnosis being in xenoblade and I hope that it will not be left as a missed opportunity.
Spoilers for xenosaga Huh so than if there is an upper domain in the xenoblade multiverse than wouldn’t there be a wilhelm like entity and a U-DO like entity as well.
Yeah, that's one of the main things people insisting that Takahashi is trying to tie all three Xeno franchises seem to be missing. The Xenoblade multiverse doesn't have an equivalent to the Wave Existence nor U-DO. And the way the Xenoblade multiverse is built, it doesn't look like there will... ever. It would need one heck of a MASSIVE retcon for it to make sense.
Given the color and the complex of his twisted personality, Z could be an extension of U-DO itself, and the gnosis’ wish for days long past matches the Moebius desire for a stagnant world.
No. Just like p5 royal it sounds good till you think of the consequences. He is just a nicer zed. This means klaus presses the magical button press happens again and again. That aionos hapoens again and again. You dont have a true choice in your future. Maybe with bionis now remerged and the universe effectivily reser they can oermanantly end it.
Eh, I've played all the Blade games, and by the time the Saga games are accessible again, it'll have been so many years that I'll have forgotten the spoilers, so it's fine. Also if the game is good the spoilers won't matter
im legit convinced the "alien" battle with X were interpreted as the Sabrite rebels in X2. OR better theory the Sabrite rebels were trying to take the conduit because of the impeding invasion and Klaus saw this as a zero sum situation and activated his experiment and the survivors on the big ships just thought the ailens did it. Think about it. only Galada knew what he did. everyone else can only point fingers due to the chaos and thats why he was on high for so long.
Wait wait wait... The Fog King is NOT a gnosis. The Fog King is Infernal Guldo. They have the exact same model and the exact same moveset. After Klaus activated the Conduit, Galea's being was split in two: Meyneth (her soul) and her body becoming Infernal Guldo (you find her ID card after killing Infernal Guldo). The real question is: If the destruction of Zanza and the disappearance of Klaus caused the world of Alrest and Shulk's unnamed planet to "reset", then what exactly is causing the dimensional rifts that allowed Galea/Infernal Guldo to invade Shulk's unnamed planet?
@@pokeleoantiqua7326 That seems unlikely. In all of my years playing through the Xeno series, I have yet to see a re-used character asset. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen anything like that done by Monolithsoft.
@@karihana They're not just "references", they are universes that are directly linked through the Zohar. It's a fairly long discussion video anyways, why make a snarky comment that adds nothing to the conversation?
So I'm probably a wee bit late here. Annnd my experience with the Xeno series as a whole ends on Episode 3, because being a PC gamer for the last decade... two? Anyways, not the point. Gotta say, like how the Gnosis are basically humans who refuse unification and in turn become... Well, Gnosis. Monsters that seek only to destroy and kill human life. They only do so ultimately because they refuse to unify into the collective unconscious, making themselves into weapons against the greater whole of humanity because of that refusal to belong. There is a counter parallel in Xenogears, where you have the Yahweh Weapons System creating humans to become parts for it. Those parts in turn take the form of the "Angels" you fight in the end game. Which is why you encounter normal enemies on the world map a lot less when you finally get access to it in disc 2. Save for a pitifully small portion of Humanity, who were able to refuse unification with Deus(Yahweh Weapons System), the rest have become Angels and turned into weapons. These Angels are then sent out as weapons for Deus to cull the remaining Human population in retribution for refusing to unify with their creator, Deus. In refusing to become part of the greater whole of Deus, Humanity is hunted by the Angels. Kinda noticed that during the video, and thought it was an interesting idea. Figured I'd express it. Also enjoying your videos! Despite being unable to play the Xenoblade series, I'm still a fan of the Xeno Universe as a whole and I like to follow what I can when I can through videos like this and wiki lore dumps. You show a definite passion for Xenoblade and the whole Xeno Universe. Hope to see more!
SPOIL ME SENPAI! I still think you're wrong about the Fog King (XCDE) being a Gnosis (... or Gnosis-like), but... I'd like it if you're right. But this could explain why I liked XenoX and XC2 about 19 times more than XC1. "Gnosis" meaning knowledge, though? Are you sure? I remember from back when I looked it up that it had more to do with spirit... I may be mixing it up with Gnosticism, but still. #NerdCheck
The problem with the Xenoblade series, is that they're not as easily consumable as the Xenosaga series. The Xenoblade games are way too big, and take way too much time to complete. There's simply too much game with the Xenoblade series, Xenosaga on the other hand; feels far more consumable. I feel like the third one was kinda the perfect size game, especially for the style of gameplay they were using.

@@Fediel my sarcastic comment is not unneeded considering how people commented on the smash dlc video.
You must not have a lot of friends huh
@@karihana They're not just "references", they are universes that are directly linked through the Zohar. It's a fairly long discussion video anyways, why make a snarky comment that adds nothing to the conversation?
spoken like a true ignorant person that knows nothing about Xenosaga and the Xeno series
Everybody alway asking what is fog kind, but nobody ever asks how is fog king, no wonder he's a big jerk, lol.
You kinda predicted all of Xenoblade Chronicles 3
so, ugh, happy april fools?!
Basically there ghost.
Eyyyyy one of the first people!!!
uploaded on April 2nd, huh
Xeno starting to sound like it lowkey has major Persona vibes
SPOIL ME SENPAI!
I still think you're wrong about the Fog King (XCDE) being a Gnosis (... or Gnosis-like), but... I'd like it if you're right.
But this could explain why I liked XenoX and XC2 about 19 times more than XC1.
"Gnosis" meaning knowledge, though? Are you sure? I remember from back when I looked it up that it had more to do with spirit... I may be mixing it up with Gnosticism, but still. #NerdCheck
So gnosis is a wave existence essentially......
Bruh
Did anyone else notice the Gnosis in the Land of Morytha
Those aren’t Gnosis. Their designs might’ve taken inspiration from them but I’m pretty sure those aren’t actual Gnosis.
Xenoblade ditched all of the Judeo/Christian references
The problem with the Xenoblade series, is that they're not as easily consumable as the Xenosaga series. The Xenoblade games are way too big, and take way too much time to complete. There's simply too much game with the Xenoblade series, Xenosaga on the other hand; feels far more consumable. I feel like the third one was kinda the perfect size game, especially for the style of gameplay they were using.
Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about?
