Excellent antidiabetic but during covid it is dangerous because it lowers the immunity because of it lowers glucose lowers insulin and lowers atp levels resulting in a fatal outcome as happened with my brother Simon who succumbed to covid because of sglt2 inhibitors
Given that SGLT2i drugs seem to remove more interstitial water as opposed to vascular could the combination of TZDs and SGLT2i drugs be more beneficial?
