You aren't forced to take spell removal until later in the game. The idea of Strength Prophet is that her spells don't get upgraded directly, so even when you remove them, you still keep all the benefits. But that doesn't mean you can't combine Curses with her spells throughout majority of the game: lower magic resistance for Q and E, lower attack speed on top of W, lower armour for R. You can build her into caster, ignoring spell removal completely, or as a right-clicker, carried by ultimate through early game and increased attack damage in late game. The only really strange part I find is spell removal being available immediately, sure feels like it was accidentally swapped with current lategame upgrade.
I believe there is a misunderstanding with the DP build at the end.
The build isn't increasing your *attack damage*.
It is increasing your Total Damage Dealt. This means from ALL sources. In other words, it's an items build. You want items that deal damage!! Mjolnir was good- but Radiance would've been better. Eblade, Dagon, Revenant's Brooch especially. Mask of Madness is of course an obvious choice as when you have no abilities it becomes an item with literally no downsides- and its very cheap to get on top of that, so it works well as an early item alongside lightnings.
how's that figure with the massive spell damage reduction
unless it was supposed to be localized as _ability_ damage specifically, that really hinders the ability to leverage spell damage items like radiance and dagon. a 20% reduction needs a 25% damage bonus to break even. a 40% reduction needs _67%._ that means even with the curse damage boost maxed out, you don't actually see an increase in those items until you have 8 active curses ... in fact, you see _less_ damage out of them than if you just bought 'em normally and kept your abilities
i mean, if it is just negative spell amp, that all can be partially mitigated by eblade due to spell amp's additive stacking - which means you only suffer a 8% / 28% reduction, which gets overtaken by 9% / 39% bonus damage. which ... i guess if leveling a curse doesn't provide an extra damage stack, means you just have to not level that one twice, but that whole mechanic is just so poorly communicated
i dunno i get the feeling like the numbers just aren't there. like, let's consider the alternative of a mom ac right click build. at that point, dp has 335 ( +10 all stats from basic curse damage boost + dp's natural agility at 16 because that's easy + mom + ac + 100 base attack speed ) attack speed as a x3.35 dps multiplier. drop it down to 260 with the -75 for x2.60, and the 9% boost you get from that has an end result of 2.6 * 1.09 = ... x2.834 dps. and while, yes, that's only factoring in a single curse bonus ... adding more only makes the attack speed curse look _worse,_ because even just a single additional bonus means the x3.35 without the attack speed curse becomes 3.35 * 1.09 = x3.65, while the attack speed curse ends up at 2.6 * 1.18 = x3.07
i guess maybe you're just supposed to skip the curse that corresponds to your damage type? or the damage bonus is secretly multiplicative with itself? i dunno the tooltips just _do not_ give nearly enough information to properly assess this stuff
@@hi-i-am-atan I believe you are not supposed to upgrade all the curses. The final upgrade only requires 3 active curses.
When you have no spell, it becomes an item build 😂
@@hi-i-am-atan Oh, never saw this. Yeah what Kefan said. You only need 3 of the curses to get the final upgrade. So just don't take the one that gimps whatever items you're going for. I feel like spell damage items are probably the best, so probably don't take the spell damage gimping one. Especially since the radiance's exist

on the PA vid, no need to get additional cast range upgrade if you intent to remove Phantom Strike later. even for blink dagger, that's a waste of SP as it is just +300 cast range.

the final death prophet ability instead of just 25 in all stats should give 80% damage reduction, +300 in all stats, reincarnation, and break on every attack

I think a good idea would be to show us what each of the talents within the 3 trees do for your hero before the start of the game

why baumi always get the last duel with world of dota video? like everytime i thought it was random
only the 2 players with the lowest networth (total gold value) need to duel for their lives. usually baumi manages to stay far enough ahead in farm to not duel
eliminating the pa's powers were stupid, you have no way to get closer and you are just a rock without powers and worse, there is no echo improvement I know like a harpoon
