- After installing my Cardo Packtalk Bold, here are some things I learned through trial and error that got me much better music volume!

I recently acquired a Packtalk, it doesn't say bold, just Packtalk and three days before that I've gotten a Spirit. I used the Spirit for 3 days and to be honest, Spirit sounds louder by quiet a margin. I cannot hear anything with my Packtalk but the Spirit, cant, keep it on full volume. It's again not the Spirit HD, plain Spirit but I'm not sure if something is wrong with my Packtalk.
Hmmm... I think the spirit is the entry level to the Packtalks. I have the bold, and now they are up to the edge or something like that. My volume issues came down to my phone itself not having its volume for media set to max. On my older Samsung I had, it would give me a warning about turning up the volume and that's kind of how I knew it wasn't set to max. On my newer Samsung S23, it seems to be staying at high unless I change its media volume myself for some reason.

The more I use the Cardo Packtalk Bold the more I like it. Voice commands work well, the mobile app works well, the hand controls are straightforward to use, and once I did the tweaks as laid out in the video the audio is great too. What experience is everyone else having with their Packtalk Bold or other device?
I have pactalk bold. When I go into settings it suggests there is an update. It also says I can update without plugging into a USB port as I only have an iPad. But can’t figure out how. Help?
I researched this a bit Robert and that's a stumper - I update mine via USB. I think you can also update the firmware "over the air" via the app on your mobile phone- have you looked into that option? Try googling that a bit and see what you can find.
