Great review as always Chris. I love the Stealth Assassin Wallet and have the original version, although mine doesnt seem to have the Alakazam logo embossed on the front like all the others do. Im beginning to wonder if i have a fake??
Thank you! I don’t think it’s a fake, if you ordered from a reputable source. If you’ve seen my full review of the original I mention how mine is different than most of the originals I had seen as well. I ordered my original from penguin at that time.
@mentalistonashoestring yeah for sure, I can’t argue that. It’s nice being able to get your peek and then place it down on the table in front of them open. Really nice convincer that you haven’t seen anything they haven’t. Have you looked at the Greek Peek in the mean time?? Much cheaper. Mine will be here this week and I’ve already watched the tutorial. It’s fantastic!

@rhook88 I don’t think it’s a fake if you ordered from a reputable source. My original is different than most I have seen as well but I got mine from penguin at the time.
Hey Bruce, thank you my friend, it’s my pleasure. That’s correct! It does have an out to lunch feature. But that’s not new to the wallet. It has always had that feature. The improvements that are known to me is the upgraded premium soft leather, the internal locking system and the step/flap to the gimmicked portion of the wallet is less prominent but just as easily accessed.
I’m thinking about getting this, just wondering what the storage is like, I’m confused as some say it’s not great but others say they store loads. I’m wanting to hold stuff like credit card tricks and edc tricks eg will to read.
I carried this as my EDC for a couple years before the shadow, then Orphic and now JOL. So with that said, for two years it held everything I needed it to, and when I carry a magic wallet, I need it to be a WALLET first and foremost, before it does anything else. So there are probably 6 working slots for cards that have nothing to do with the peek compartments. Then there are large storage pockets on both sides when it’s opened up if that makes sense. One behind the SUC and another behind the peek area that is meant for storage. You don’t have a billfold so it’s not great for cash or coins but if you’re looking to store credit/debit cards and other effects you should be good. You can also use the peek area as a regular ID window. As long as you are placing the billet behind the ID card it will all still function for a peek too. That’s just all in the non gimmicked side. If you open the gimmicked side you have an index or additional storage however you choose to use it.
