I bet you they might’ve been preempted recently with the events of the last several days here in early January 2021 honestly I don’t know I didn’t watch to find out
President Nixon certainly deserved to be impeached, but NOT for Watergate. His economic malfeasance by removing the Gold Standard which pegged the Dollar to the prce of Gold. Has repercussions that you may have taken some note of having watched this little time capsule.
The mystery was over in the back of it. Her panties showed. Who would get away with that safely? Many people can’t go past a construction site wearing a whole lot more, without harassment.
"A new car!" My father owned nearly every crappy clunker unveiled on this show with that famous exclamation. All they need is a '74 Ford Pinto station wagon with faux wood paneling and cellophane in place of busted out rear windows and my childhood automotive memories will be complete.
This was from before Bob became an animal rights activist (he started around the mid 80s). After that, he wouldn't allow furs to be prizes on the show anymore.
The B-52’s are not a female group. The group was originally 3 guys & 2 girls, then it was 2 guys & 2 girls, then it was 2 guys & 1 girl, then it was 2 guys & 2 girls again, then it was 1 guy & 2 girls.

I think 2010...?
Sponsor paid?
Just to answer your question three years later, some products are sponsored and others are just something they picked up at the store. They still do this today where the sponsored product will have the name and features announced whereas other products shown will get a generic description.
And the thing is Bob would get MANY MANY more of those kisses, hugs, muggings & ANYTHING ELSE you can think of (Including contestants wearing Playboy-esque skirts) over the years) too :)
GREAT upload. Keep up the the good work :)
Pat Cook, KB0OXD a family friend was kicked off the show because he asked Bob if he ever slept with the showgirls.
Pat Cook, KB0OXD well, the "pickups" of course died down near the home stretch.
@@alexcorona Well I guess the answer was not no lol !
Jeezus, I can't believe the length of that skirt, or rather the un-length of that skirt that Patricia is wearing!
try buying a new car today for $2000.00
She was absolutely gorgeous.
I was just 6 when this episode aired, but I recall seeing those Ford Mavericks (and other cars from the 70's) turn in to rust buckets by the time I was behind the wheel in the mid 80's.
My aunt had an ugly lime green Mercury Comet, n they called it "The Vomit" lol
This was taped the day after I was born!
I wonder how many of these shows were preempted for the Watergate hearings.
I bet you they might’ve been preempted recently with the events of the last several days here in early January 2021 honestly I don’t know I didn’t watch to find out
For me doesn't even matter. Cause I wasn't even born until years later lol.
@@Pinkblueflowerlady Same and fuck Nixon!!!!
President Nixon certainly deserved to be impeached, but NOT for Watergate. His economic malfeasance by removing the Gold Standard which pegged the Dollar to the prce of Gold. Has repercussions that you may have taken some note of having watched this little time capsule.
Delightful. Macs was perfect. All three, were perfect.
As Archie Bunker once said about Gloria's skirt once..."If it was any shorter, then the mystery's over."
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The mystery was over in the back of it. Her panties showed. Who would get away with that safely?
Many people can’t go past a construction site wearing a whole lot more, without harassment.
Archie Bunker said to Gloria, “every time you sit down the mystery is gone.“
At the 2:56 mark, you can tell the game is Five Price Tags.
"A new car!" My father owned nearly every crappy clunker unveiled on this show with that famous exclamation. All they need is a '74 Ford Pinto station wagon with faux wood paneling and cellophane in place of busted out rear windows and my childhood automotive memories will be complete.
The Grocery Game was referred to as The Price Is Right Supermarket in its inaugural appearance as a pricing game.
and back then, the cash register was blue...still an NCR model, but the blue looked better
As an animal rights activist I wonder what Bob Barker would think of the ermine coat prize.
This was from before Bob became an animal rights activist (he started around the mid 80s). After that, he wouldn't allow furs to be prizes on the show anymore.
@@AJ17_Bob demanded no more fur products starting in the 1982 season
Ad that came up before this, current one. “You’ll never forget your first Oreo cookie!” Uh! Ya, I have!
bob could not get away with that today
Patricia hair remind me of female group the B-52s
The B-52’s are not a female group. The group was originally 3 guys & 2 girls, then it was 2 guys & 2 girls, then it was 2 guys & 1 girl, then it was 2 guys & 2 girls again, then it was 1 guy & 2 girls.
18 cents for a bottle of root beer!! :o Today, it's worth ten times as much.
Thank Nixon for taking the US off the Gold Standard. Ya know, to guarantee cheep foreign Oil. Quick remind us how well that turned out. Now we have millionaires whinging on a strike that only they care about. Claiming their 14k$ a week salery somehow isnt a living wage. While other People havevto bust their ass for 14$h sans 1% tax, and 33% other deductions (State, Local, SSI, and Medical). But the infation level for Food, (Let alone Gas), remains at all time highs.
Bob LOVES the ladies. 💜
so does richard dawson :D
@@FlavioGirl Kissy, Kissy, Kissy.
He liked some of the men too.
New cars for less than 3 thousand dollars!!!
Because 3000$ in '73 are 15 000$ today...
@@Flying_Acehole stilll cheap
When the Ford Pinto came out it was $1,700 lol
And those cars, cheap as they were, still lasted for several years...
@@Flying_Acehole Yes. But try finding a new car for 15 thousand now.
2665 dollars a car... MAN WHAT HAS AMERICAN FALLEN DOWN TO ?
consumerism
Inflation
Greed ! More, more, more a crackhead mentality for money, money for nothing.
Slavery replaced by taxes. The 1% making sure they stay the 1%. Not 2% or 3% oh no. Just the greedy 1%.
More like what have we given up... coof the Gold Standard... coof!
How much did the average American earn in 1973? Think about it.
Yes , i chubbed up a bit too , upon seeing Patricia's skirt .
18 cents for a root beer. sigh...
47 cents for Spaghetti Sauce, 18 cents for a bottle of Root Beer! LOL, how I miss those prices!
+centuryrox IKR?!
+centuryrox Of course minimum wage was much lower back then
+centuryrox If you went back in time to pay those prices, you'd get a big surprise with your weekly check.
Wake up your money went much further then even with low minimum wages.
centuryrox Me too! And $2,700 for a brand new car! These days a used engine is $3,000!
that was a great skirt
@Jerry Moad J.R. Ohhhh yes it is
Raised on the pole!
I've never seen Bob with dark hair only white hair. The studio nowadays is a lot brighter looks dark back then
