I really like it, I had an akai midimix previously but was too fiddly to use for live mixing I found. It’s a shame the livid isn’t more widely available, I got lucky and a friend had one going for a reasonable price as he was moving to a no laptop setup. I did have to download a script from GitHub to get it to work with my pc though, something that was simple enough to do but was so long ago now I wouldn’t be able to detail exactly what I did and where to find it!
The software I’m using is Ableton Live and I have a midi controller for controlling the faders and delays etc. the stems come from Prince Fatty who has a pack for sale on his website, so these are purpose made stems for this purpose, rather than me having the ability to make stems from original songs. Hope that explains things? Happy to answer any more questions

Ableton Live, but there will be ways to do this sort of thing using pretty much any DAW

this is a Livid DS1 midi mixing controller, sadly discontinued a while back but sometimes available second hand
