Cool Dud man. Got a question on tascam 24 : when I use Mon. 1 and Mon. 2 to run external effects the ( fader) volume on the channel I run the effect is driven by the Mon. 1 (or Mon. 2) (volume) Knob, the fader on that ( or those) channel become overiden. Have you find a way to bypass this ? Myself I don't think it is possible since using monitor input to run effect is not made for that
Mon 1 and Mon 2 are "pre-fader" if the Mon volume knob is up and Mon fader is up but the channel you are sending signal from fader is down you will still get the wet signal to play through the channel you are returning your monitor effects to. If you run a cable out of the "FX" out it will be "post-fader" meaning you will only get the effect if the fader is up on the channel you are sending the FX signal from. (Doing it this way bypasses the internal fx) You can also run the Sub out and its "post-fader". I hope this answers your question, I can make a video hopefully explaining this better if you want just let me know.

Im starting to think that analog summing/mixing is the most important thing to ensure you get a good sound. Great mix!!
Best for retaining quality, always was. Digital is a "lossy" format but it can get close, like Icarus.
Thanks for watching!! Im always happier with my mixes that run hybrid instead of just in the computer
