Great review. I went for the 2019 A5 Coupe, still with all the bells and whistles. I just didn't need the power of an S5 or the back seats, but really wanted the mpg. Still have 248hp, and so mine is stil very fun to drive, but avgs. 35mpg on my commute. Both are just spectacular cars, can't go wrong either way. Comfortable, fun luxury. ...and that B&O sound system is incredible!
I got the 2018 version and it has physical gauges in the dash. I absolutely love the audi s5 sportback b9 and already done a few mods to it like better suspension, tires, ignition coils and a blow up valve to hear that turbo spool better. Great video by the way.
We seem to have similar taste in cars.. the A5/S5 Sportback is the best looking sedan in my eyes.. I started searching for one shortly before the used car market went crazy a couple years ago and missed the boat on buying one at a reasonable price. I love the white, but there is also a deep blue color I find beautiful as well. The interior is as close to perfect you can get. Great car.. enjoy!
Agree with all that you say but 17 mpg - eeek!! My 40 tfsi, granted not as quick, but plenty quick enough for road use, will do 64mpg on a long run at 70. Down to about 57mpg in more mixed driving.
Slight caveat to my previous comment. I’m talking British gallons (greater volume than US gallons - who knew, huh?) so the equivalent would be 20 mpg average and 52 mpg at 70 mph. Also mine is a ‘21 car - that mild hybrid technology makes a big difference
Beautiful machine, and you review cars very well... If only the camera was pointing the other way so we can see the dash and out the windshield of your S5 while you're driving it... Then your video would be perfect!
Thank you. Maintenance at the Audi dealership at least where I am is crazy expensive. Try to find a good and fair import shop. Dealer oil change $350. My import shop $125. Air and cabin filter Amazon and do it yourself. Good luck!
Apologies for my delay. Standard suspension and it’s still great. City roads it’s decent I would say. Not harsh but you do feel the road some but nothing that would keep me from buying one. Mild trade off for how good drives and handles. Thanks for watching. They are great cars!
Never noticed that there's no grab handles on the inside roof, my A3 has them. Could be a deal breaker when it comes to upgrading as I've got family members with mobility issues. Why Audi, why? It makes no sense.
I'm looking at one very similar priced at $41k, >20,000mi in WA. I'm questioning the purchase because a used 2021 A5 covers my needs, but doesn't have the power or exhaust note. Please advice :)
What year is the S5? That sounds like a pretty reasonable deal. I would say stretch to the S5 if you can. The extra power and exhaust note is worth it and resale value will definitely be better.
My apologies for the delay. I’ve never tried with seats folded down. I would say 4-5 large ones and a couple small ones too. With seat up I can get two large and a couple of small ones. Thanks for watching!
I haven’t had any except oil and filter changes etc. knock on wood! Maintenance at an Audi dealer is expensive so I take mine to a local import shop and oil changes only $125 as compared to $350 at the dealer. Did cabin and air filter myself. Thanks for watching. Good luck.
I appreciate the correction! Can’t believe I’ve been saying it wrong this whole time. You’re only the 2nd one to catch that. Must be a states thing people are used to it being said wrong.

This is probably one of the best reviews out there
Thanks Thomas!

Thank Jose! Sounds like you have yours dialed in.
Man such an awesome car but too much fuel consumption for a daily driver.
Great car and review. Also, love your radio preset choices. 😊
Thanks! 🙂
thanks to your review, just got mine and i love it!! Thanks for all your hard work on this review.
Thank you! Enjoy yours!
Enjoy that powerhouse mate! Good job!
This is so high quality video review, nice
Thank you Diego!
You can program the start stop off with vcds
Thanks. What is vcds?

Good luck in your search. Prices starting to come down across the board so hopefully you'll find one.
Yea I was looking for a car based in Features and Looks n I boiled it down between this the 440i GC and the 540i
The A7 is the most beautiful of all but yes the A5 is a beauty too.
@@DsLmaNiaCTrue! but this A/S/RS-5 sportback style seems to be a smaller yet still competitive version

Great Video and I fully agree what u said. Still love my 2017 S5 Sportback as well
Good to hear!
Amazing! Great content
Thank you
Thinking about getting one just sold my a3
You won't be dissappointed.
Awesome video mate, hopefully picking one up tomorrow!
I just picked it up!!! I am beyond ecstatic!!! What a beautiful machine!!!
@@Dillon000any problems with it so far?
@@Momsfavoritereels Nothing yet, I’ve put about 3k miles on her and topped it out at 149mph! Still running like a champ!
@@Dillon000 Good to know thank you man
@@Momsfavoritereels No problem bro!
Do you regret not getting one with the S-Sport package? I couldn’t imagine not having it. The rear diff alone is worth it
No but then again since I haven't had it I don't know what I missing :)
How can you love those cup holders? Every time you put a large drink in there your pressing those buttons... (got a 2018 S5)
I agree their location is a pain with a tall cup. Just love the key fob holder.
Beautiful machine, and you review cars very well... If only the camera was pointing the other way so we can see the dash and out the windshield of your S5 while you're driving it... Then your video would be perfect!
Clearly you’ve really looked after this car 😊
Thanks, I try. Sounds like you know its work to.
Hi. Good video. How is expensive maintenance? Do you go to Audi dealership for maintenance? Thanks
Thank you. Maintenance at the Audi dealership at least where I am is crazy expensive. Try to find a good and fair import shop. Dealer oil change $350. My import shop $125. Air and cabin filter Amazon and do it yourself. Good luck!
@@317Auto Thanks for your response. I appreciate it, man. Enjoy your beast and be safe out there.
@@317AutoDo you still have the car?Any expensive problems with it?
Did you have adaptive suspension or the standard s suspension ? Is it bumpy over city roads or comfortable ?

@@marky5004 In 3 years total?? Oh nah not doubt I am getting one now, appreciate it the response!
Yep since owned new. Look for 2019 and up. Prior years some engine issues.
I only drive mine in Sport mode so it doesn't shut down
Interesting, I drive in Sport mode a lot as well and it still shuts down.
You can reverse the function with a vcds so when you start the car start stop is stopped
Vehicle manufacturer name rhymes with “howdy.”
Your bellybutton is either an innie or an outie. How you say outie is how you pronounce Audi.
Lol. Thanks! I appreciate the correction. You are only the 2nd person to catch that. I can’t believe I’ve been saying it wrong this whole time!!
WTF is an 'ODDY'? Maybe look up videos on how to pronounce Audi.. you know, from people who live in the country that created it.
I was cringing every time he pronounced it incorrectly.
