    Wow. Talk about a different animal than what I'm familiar with. Great tutorial, Chris. This will certainly be a help to a lot of folks. I would've been stumped for a while if it were me.

      Luckily I had taken the tank off before to change the air intake so I knew it wouldn't be bad

    Hi what is the size socket for spark plugs! Thank you

    • @CDLNEPA
      @CDLNEPA  Рік тому +1

      If I remember the correct size, it is a 5/8 spark plug socket.

  • @larrystanley2394
    @larrystanley2394 2 роки тому +1

    Chris, any reason, other than cost that you didn’t install Iridium plugs which last significantly longer?

    • @CDLNEPA
      @CDLNEPA  2 роки тому

      No. Just running what is pretty much standard.

    • @larrystanley2394
      @larrystanley2394 2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the response Chris. The reason I ask is I watched another video of how difficult it is to remove the air box (you mention this in your video and replaced the stock box) and after seeing that and having to remove those frame rails and putting a jack stand under the bike to keep if from “scissoring” and how difficult it seemed to pull it off to get to the front spark plug, I would only want to do this procedure once or twice😳.

    I still have the dealer do the work. Boats and other vehicles I'll work on but not the bike.

      @@CDLNEPA because....guess what? I forgot to check mine! Everything's been running great, so I don't expect an issue. I'm gonna look out for misfires and/or mpg changes. Thanks!

      Shouldn't be off by much anyway if you didn't. I didn't have to change anything out of the box.
