Of all the promises Jesus made during His time on earth, that’s one we all wish weren’t true. But, as most of us know from personal experience, it is.
In this message, Dr. Stanley echoes the disturbing reality of those words but reminds us that the verse doesn’t end there: “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Yes, storms-be they of our own disobedient making or an attack of the enemy’s-are inevitable. But through them all, God is conforming us to His image, demonstrating His power, and drawing us closer with His love.

I am 24 years old and struggle with drugs and alcohol. Though I created my own storms God has delivered me from all my anxieties and gives me peace of mind. Thank you Jesus Christ.

I'm praying for you been there on both that addiction but the 1 i couldn't stop was 🚬 smoking woke up 1 morning just completely stop i started again because i let the devil in no more so i'm praying for you to be set (Free) meet you at the "Crosswalk" 👍
I created my own storm and im so thankful for the grace and mercy God has for me..
In the mornings I sit on the beach while it's peaceful and quiet and listen to Dr. Stanley. I always learn from him every time. He makes it easy to understand.

JESUS still heals🙏🏿 My sister had a massive stroke six years ago this August. The doctors gave up hope. In the midst of her stroke she was diagnosed with dementia. We kept on praying for her🙏🏿 She can now talk, and walk 🙏🏿She also helps to dress her self 🙏🏿 So no matter what it is JESUS still heals... even if you're bedridden; JESUS still HEALS🙏🏿 SURRENDER your life to HIM 🙏🏿 One day in HEAVEN my sister and I will REJOICE! Hi Bill ,J esus loves you. Pick up your bible and read it everyday and ask Jesus into your heart ...he will direct you, if you ask. Talk to him Jesus like he is right beside you..Jesus is right with you , holding your hand. Never give up. Be positive, set example of godly person, you are a light of Jesus. :) 😊😊
No one is perfect. But we need to recognize our weaknesses, and try to avoid them at ALL cost. For example, if we have an alcohol problem, having alcohol at your home will heightened the temptation to take a drink.
The point is we must try to avoid the things that cause the temptation, rather that to put ourselves in the position to be tempted, then try to fight it

As I've gotten older I can see how God has intervened in my hardest trials. Last two years I've lost my granddaughter and my mother! Its been very hard for me and my children. These painful days have given me spiritual strength and wisdom even when I don't understand why He allows things to happen. I'm sure he is not finished working on me at sixty five years. Thank you for prayers!

I just woke up from a nap, and i have an overwhelming sense of peace of my mind. I've was suffering for a few months, and then it just stopped. I go on youtube and see this video recommended to me. " Lifes passing storms". A very accurate title for my situation. PRAISE GOD!
Edit: It's been almost three weeks, and the peace and comfort grows every day. PRAISE GOD!

I have cried out to the Lord to help me. My husband passed away, I have to have surgery to remove cancerous tumor and now my late husband's dog ran away. That little dog means so much to me. There's just too much , my heart is shattered. I begged the Lord to just bring home my little dog safely . It's been 3 weeks of pure heart break

Really needed to hear this message. My grandfather recently passed and it hurts so much that he’s not around anymore. But I believe he came to Christ at the end and I thank God for all the time I was able to spend with him. I know Jesus is bringing me closer to Him through this difficult time, even when I don’t understand why things happen I know that God is always in control and I love Jesus very much.
Just knowing that God has a purpose for the storms in life makes it easier to bear them.

Amen same here I been suffering with late-stage chronic lyme disease for almost seven years now. Even though I am still suffering today now I can say from time to time when I can remind myself to give thanks to the Lord for my suffering. Because without my suffering I probably wouldn't have relationship with the Lord. Could there been a different way that the Lord could have changed me and save me I don't know but we know that his ways are perfect and he knows what's best for us. I suffer with a lot of few issues with Lyme disease and what this disease did to my body especially my gut health because our gut health influence our mood energy and much more. I suffer with depression and anxiety and I pray to the Lord all the time to take it away and even though I still have it I wonder if my faith is not strong enough but I remember the Lord says to have faith as a mustard seed. I get aches and pains in my knees my neck my shoulders my lower back. I deal with fatigue issues and also a low CBC blood count. My first blood doctor that I saw she had to do three bone marrow biopsies on me finding out that I have few cells in my bone marrow currently at 20% to 25% and it should be at 70% for my age. Right now I'm getting a second opinion with a blood doctor even though I did discuss everything of what I said in this message about Lyme disease she's not discounting why I'm still sick but she's not specialize in it. There are a few testimonies and videos that I read of people getting better with this disease but they had better resources and money to see a Lyme disease doctor or go to the best lawn disease clinics. Because they treat the infection but also inflammation in the person's body the restore gut health they do other natural treatments to. One thing I try to remember almost every day is I need to trust the Lord no matter what. I came across pastor Charles Stanley about 5 years ago. He is one of my favorite preachers even though he's a Baptist and I go to a Lutheran Church they believe mostly in the same biblical faith in the Lord's word...✍️✝️🕊️❤️

As I read through some of the comments about what kind of storms people are dealing with I can’t help but say to myself Lord how selfish am I. Some people are dealing with a lot more things then i’m complaining about and honestly are things I brought upon myself. I pray everyone gets the healing they need and I also pray to the good Lord that I can start being more grateful to him regardless of the situation. God bless us all🙏🏾

I'm tired of the storms in my life cause it's nonstop. I never have peace. No matter where I go, I always feel lost. No place on this Earth feels like home to me. I feel like I'm not supposed to be, like something is terribly wrong. The pain in my heart just won't go away. This life is just too much...
Earth is not our home. God will take you home. Sometimes life in this world seems like a very long time , but its not.
Draw to to him! Every word you wrote use to be my very own words. I thank God our Father for taking me in his arms. I no longer feel so alone or like I don't belong I had so much pain in my heart. Things went perfect but with Jesus in my life I feel so much better a weight has been lifted off. I'm praying for you.
