I have the Rep Fitness Helios Squat Barbell, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same squat barbell. The dimensions are exact, cerakote finish as well, completely identical. Just the end caps are different. Great review 👍👍
Dude the review of the squat bar is just amazing and really well made. Review well informative, just incredible, and that hint of humor you added with Stewie from family guy was funny lol. 👊💯👍😂
Yeah I don’t know enough about pricing on bars to know for sure. But it’s a solid bar. Low 300s don’t think is bad but they just have a ton of competition
People who compete in a fed which uses Squat bars would benefit from use of this bar, regardless of how much one squats. Squat bars feel incredibly secure on your back, and the girth is nice. Length makes it easy to walk in. They’re definitely a different animal from Power Bars. Price is decent, considering that Rogue and Texas Squat bars are much more.
i love using a squat bar and i bought one of these. I used to power lift and at my last meet i warmed up to 770 lbs and they had regular power bars in the warmup area. the amount of whip and bend the power bars had was horrible and potentially could have hurt me. now the comp bar was a texas squat bar and you could really tell the difference. ill always use a squat bar for squats now
Its definitely a beast of a bar with the overall length, sleave length and how thick it is. I like fat bars for grip strength but im not sure i would want to use it for anything other than curls personally. $389 is alot in my opinion. Xmark has so many different barbells and curl bars to choose from at a cheap price until the new bar options came out.
Really cool bar! Not something I would ever come close to needing though 🤣. Price doesn't seem totally unreasonable for a specialty bar. I'm a little surprised that the bar was bending at 685lbs, since it's thicker and has a 2,000lb capacity I thought it would be stiffer. Bending like that would make it less comfortable on your back as the load gets more focused on your shoulders rather than distributing it evenly across your entire upper back. But I don't know how many people are really repping out 600lbs+ where the bar will be on your back for very long, so it may not matter that much for a 1RM attempt. I feel like if I were lifting that much I'd just want padding across my entire upper back 😆. For more general barbells I really like the Philosophy Gym Olympic Barbell for around $180, I think it's one of the best value all-purpose olympic barbells that covers the vast majority of people's needs. It's got the same specs as a Cerakote Rogue Ohio Bar and other high-end options but for like half the price. Luke you should check that one out!
What’s your thoughts on this barbell? It’s freakin beastly! Likes and comments help that algorithm too yall 😇
XMark stuff always looks good, although I've never used anything from them.
It’s solid!!! I want to review their new racks or leg extension leg curl machine
Good to see an XMark review.
they got some solid equipment in their arsenal!

"Bite me." I'm not sure if it is a regional or national usage. Either way, I haven't heard it in a long time. I've said it, but I haven't heard it.
LOL it’s been a minute hearing me say it 🤣🤣
