One of my favorite things to hear Julie say: "Next time"!!! Always stretching, thinking, creating! I love octopus. I think they are some of the most intelligent creatures. This guy is so glittery beautiful. He reflects so wonderfully! What to do with him? Put him somewhere to see every day and make you smile! Thank you, Julie!! Take care and stay safe!

Julie, 5 minutes into the video Aus Post delivered this guy to my door! Nice mould . And was happy that you gave measurements for the amount of resin needed, as I was a little unsure about that. Also thank you for the beautiful gift! Think I will turn it into a necklace as it matches a tank top I have.

Julie...you can also use Easter Grass that's used in children's baskets. It comes already shredded in big bags. Either colored or the iridescent kind. I've used it to make faux opal with resin. It works great.

Turned out gorgeous! 😍 Love the sparkle. If you wanted even more sparkle you should try to get your hands on some liquid diamonds. Another thing you could try with this mould is "painting" it with different iridescent powders (like the eye area one color and the suckers a different one, etc or just a randomly mottled effect) and filling the mould with clear, black or other colored resins to give different effects! BTW, have you tried dusting the mould with the interference powders, pouring clear resin then dripping alcohol inks in? Might give an interesting effect. Experiments, please? 🙇

He's really gorgeous,,,as is the purple one you did in your other video. I think myself that it would really pop out the colors against a black backround, I did a cat paw with clear holographic foils and a tiny bit of very fine silver glitter and used black glitter with black mica powder and when cured and demoulded it looked so stunning, and very reflective, would love to get a mould of large dinosaur, 👍⚘

I just saw this resin on tiktok where it showed it mixed in the cup and said no pressure pot, no bubbles, no micro bubbles and you can see all these lil bubbles popping, lol. Then she made a couple things in a mold and holy shit it was the clearest resin I've ever seen for big pieces! No bubbles and just remarkably clear. It was something like rockers resin or something like that. I work with UV resin so I'll have to see if they have that. I'll get some epoxy to havenon hand tho.

Hi I just recently got an octopus🐙 mould and have been waiting to use it,impatiently!!!,,,, but got the chance today ,,its my first time using 2 part Epoxy resin I have a craft resin, in a large size of part one and two,, I colored the mould very lightly with a sort of bore effect with the mica powers that I have in a set of 15,, using orange rose red pink purple and violet and blue graduating up,from the legs,, measured out equal amounts of resin from part 1 and 2 and mixed up my resin very slowly as not to get Bubbles ,,, as they can be your friend or your worse nightmare!!! Then added silver holographic chunky glitter, to it,,, and added a little rose gold foil flakes to the tips of the legs on all ,, then topped up to the parameter,, BUT I am a little worried,,as the glitter seemed to sink maby I didn’t use enough ,, as I didn't want the mould to get too hot , at the moment the mould is on a silicon mat that's on a canvas on the floor in a spare room there's no table there ,,,so had to lay it as flat as possible ,, not sure as the curing times,, as writing is quite small to read any tips or help are rea.y welcome I'm sorry for long comment but need to know if possible. I've watched some of your videos on the octopus you done,,and they were beautiful hope mine goes well. Thankyou. 🐙
