If you crinkle the Mylar and place it in the resin it can look like dichroic glass. Beautiful beautiful star! Love the fish too!

OMG that star is GORGEOUS and I think honestly it's Tree topper worthy, make a little stand for it to sit on the top of a xmas tree!
A cone shape would work also during a cone shape could also make it free standing I love this idea foe the tree fabulous !

I think you should do this with a different color, other than black, as the backing layer of the star. Like dark red, dark blue, dark green, oh just dark colors in general LOL. I love how it came out though!

Absolutely beautiful star, you could create another exactly the same, and glue them back to back and it would be a tree topper or just fabulous ornament. Definitely using black ground enhances to hologram effect.

Then when you were outside and the kuckoburo was trying to steal the show, literally. 😆 The star and the koi fish are just gorgeous. Such a surprise when you turned them over. I would say you did it the right way for sure. You should get an exacto blade, metal ruler and a cutting mat to do your trimmings. 😊 💕😊💕🤗💕

I would’ve thought with all the refraction of light they wouldn’t come near it, but they obviously trust you so much they know it won’t hurt them.
The sticky side does stick to the window, the non-stick side is what you see in the house. The sides look basically the same because you want to see the pretty from outside also. In your case I don't think it matters.
