I've been watching your videos for two weeks now. I love your reactions and excitement when you demold. I love that you critique yourself when you feel you made a mistake or don't like something lol. But I have learned a lot from watching you. It's satisfying and you have awesome ideas and like that you re-create other ideas and acknowledge the creator. I can't wait to really start doing more of my own.

Beautiful as always. You know, your quest for the colors you want has me wondering if you would experiment at making your own resin pastes. I intend to do this for myself, using just pigments, micas and the non-hardener part of 2 part resin. I have lots of containers to store them in. Just a thought, as I know you like experimenting and branching out.❤️ Petra has some very red mica powder too.

You should get some of Petra Jongblods Sparkle White mica. It adds sparkle to any color without super distorting the actual color.

Red Wine metallic from A1 pigments (Aussie Company) is one of my favorite mica powders. Made some beautiful jewels out of it. Does not throw purples.

When you are checking the temperature of the resin, from my angle it looks like you are checking off center, I would guess that the edges would be cooler than the center. If so it is not accurate, and takes longer to get the temp you want. Does that make sense?

This piece is gorgeous even just as you poured it and ran the lines! I love the colors!! The shine is gorgeous! I really think I liked it better before it cured with more red at the edges. Would having put the same red you used for the flowers around the edges have not faded like the alcohol ink did? Anyway, yes. It is pretty.
Lovely - can you just use white alcohol ink without the paste ? What is that paste your using?
what is your trick to having no micro bubbles in resin. I have tried various brands and I cannot get away with a clear resin in any and i have tried everything.

Only if you use *powdered* food coloring! The liquids are not compatible with epoxies. 😊👍

It looks like a peppermint disc... a piece of candy almost... Also I think the cup stuck to something on your glove, and that's why it fell into the resin... YOu can't tell by looking at it now.
