I'm not a mom, but I work with kids so these are great tips. I also love your 'use what you have' approach, instead of the many style coaches here on UA-cam who keep buying dresses, heels and handbags for their next baby shower / easter brunch etc. And, like you, I'm a fan of second hand. Thanks for all the inspiration from a Dutchie in Germany!

As a retired 'puppy mum' this is what I needed to hear! I have all the right basics, but need to remember to up the jacket and accessories every time. Particularly loved the lookbook at the end x
I'm not a mom but I do have a very active 6 pound Toy Fox Terrier who lives on my lap and sheds and has tiny claws that snag my sweaters. I do a lot of the things that you mentioned. I have older jeans that I wear while working in my home office with her on my lap or a quick playtime on the floor. And when I have outside meetings or errands I switch into my better jeans or trousers tgen switch back when I get home. It was fun to see how you work with your wardrobe as a mom and be affirmed I'm on the right track!Thanks for all the great content you provide for us!

As a mother and now a grandmother who babysits the grands weekly I appreciate this video so much. I loved these outfits and that you say change into your sweats when you get home and then put on nicer clothes when you head out.

I've been looking forward to this video, so thank you very much! Your outfits look great, comfy and still polished. I need to work 'that muscle' too, in order to get myself out of my everyday boring look (navy jeans, navy coat, striped navy top...yeah, I'm pretty lazy). Its funny how you get the feeling that while having kids, darker colors would be better. Nope! Those banana and crackers stains will shine like diamonds on navy and black. Not to mention the boogers :/ I'm thinking of embracing some floral prints now.

But I also love light colours, which is the opposite
And no matter what you do, you will absolutely ruin clothes. I ruined a lot of them, which is frustrating, especially if it's your favourite.
I feel like I either wear clothes I don't mind ruining, and then I feel not cute, AND I'm covered in stains, which I hate
Or I wear what I like but then I'm mad if it gets ruined.
the term muscle work to switch style kinda remind me that even when the pandemic hits and everyone stays at home, me and my son get dressed as if we're going out every sunday just because it made us feel good 😄

thanks for the good tips. I have the (first world) problem that my clothes don’t really fit me after my second pregnancy. I want to avoid buying non sustainable jeans, but at the same time if I loose the weight in time, my new and somewhat expensive jeans wont fit (if I buy the sustainable option now). Furthermore buying 2nd hand is hard at the moment since I dont know the correct size and can’t try them on and return them. So any jeans-tips for new moms like myself?
Omg I’m in exactly the same situation! to be honest I’ve been living in leggings while “waiting” to lose that weight and be able to wear my clothes again. But as Signe states in this video, putting effort in what you wear does something to your mood and confidence, and not doing it does the opposite. I’m also not sure of what to do since I’m also not sure if I’ll be able to lose all the weight or when. This is a topic that needs more light!
