This is the only remix of Gohan Powers Up that actually improves the original tune!! It captures the essence of the original perfectly and I dare say does it better.
Gosh thank you Danny!! But I have to say I honestly think the original is already so epic it wasn’t hard to take what was already written and put my touch on it. But I am very happy with the way I arranged the ending ;) one of my favourite dbz tracks without a doubt!
When I was a kid, I had Dragon Ball Z: Buu's fury on the gameboy. I remember first hearing this theme when Gohan turns SSJ2 in this game. I would literally pause the game and listen to it until I had to stop it. Fast forward like 14 years later and I found the original track, which I didn't even know it was an actual theme from the anime until now. I've been scouring the internet for a version that does it justice and this is it. This song always motivated me and I'm glad I could find an artist that truly make it a showstopper.
I loved the legacy of Goku games on Gameboy advance, they were so fun and I love how they incorporated the English soundtrack into the game. I’m happy you enjoyed this track! It’s one of my favourites I’ve ever done, it’s so uplifting! Thank you again for your comment 🙏☺️
It's crazy to think that by the end of Dragon Ball Z Gohan was left as THE strongest unfused warrior in the Dragon Ball Universe. Surpassing Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and of course his mentor Piccolo.
I mean Goku in the Kid Buu fight surpassed Ultimate Gohan in the anime and Manga due to Kid Buu being stronger than Super Buu and Gohans energy not being enough to Charge the spirit Bomb while SSJ3 Goku over powered Kid Buu and only losing due to low stamina and Kid Buus regeneration. But Gohan was really cool

Gohan is one of my favourite characters so I had to give him special treatment, but I always do my best to bring out the magic that was in the original compositions and take them even further beyond 😉 I really appreciate your comment man! I honestly think this theme fit perfectly with the death of majin buu, since Goku regains his energy thanks to the dragonballs, I imagine this part 1:08 while the flashbacks of all buu fights appear and 1:47 when everyone said "You can do it" to Goku. Definitely one of the most epic songs written by Faulconer Productions, and your remix my friend... has taken that epicness even further beyond. Keep up this fabulous work.

Technically Goku didn't defeat Buu, the people of Earth rose up as one and defeated Kid Buu. Goku was simply the conduate in which Earth rose to face and get revenge on the deaths of it's people. Calling This a Goku win completely diminishes all the other parties involved.
To have you acknowledge my hard work, especially in this piece is really good to hear man. I love all my remakes but this is one of my favourites and it always lifts me up when it gets to the Gohan approaches section of the piece. I always try to keep it faithful but add a bit of myself in there too which the ending really feels like a culmination of in the most sincere of ways. And also adding in Gohan angers was subtle but if you’re a fan you’ll notice it ☺️ it’s like a little reminder of who this character is despite how far he’s come.
This is fantastic! I know you subtly worked in the gohan angers theme, but at 3:17 I can’t help but imagine how amazing it would have sounded to hear the piano from gohan angers soar over this part of the instrumental. It wouldn’t be in the same key, but it would still work so well!

God damn... Every Gohan video of yours carries so much emotions. I just couldn't help but take a deep breath and feel my heart pounding without saying a single word.
Unrelenting hype and gentle hope in one soundtrack! I really like how the two feelings combine to make a song that befits a couple senses of the word graceful: in sense of physicality against Buu and also in the sense of mercy for his friends. And that's not even getting into the inclusion of Gohan's Anger, which is quite the focuser for the sorrow that kinda sits in the shadows of the soaring horns with the tense high tone. Great instrumentation, and I always love the quality of the bass you use. It's never boomy in the mix and for many of the tracks it has some refinement or excitement to it. I think for the likes of the Frieza or Gogeta track it digs deeper but still has that refined feeling. Anyway I'm talking outta my ass lol. Great work.

Extremely powerful. Reading this when the crescendo at 3:15 begins. Contemplating your message, thinking about the underlying tones and messages both in reality and in the universe that inspired this track, really puts things into perspective and gives such a feeling of power and hope.
What I really like about these remakes is that you pay alot of respect to the original track(s). Making it sound fresh/modern (with a new jacket), while keeping ALOT of nostalgia in it (paying respect to the original). Plus I really love the flow into different soundtracks (like what you did in the Trunks theme and the Buu medley). If there will be another dragonball (Z,Super or whatever) movie in the cinema, I would love to have these tracks in it 😂

I really love all of this music so much and it’s important to me that I do my best to respect it by getting the chords, tempos, soundscapes right or as close as possible. Then I try to give them some senzu beans and bring ‘em back to life for today ;) as for the flow I’m a real sucker for great transitions so creating the opportunity to do that with the different versions of the same theme is so fun and satisfying to me! Scoring a new dragon ball movie would be an absolute dream!!

The one theme I think would be really cool is if you did Broly's Rage and Sorrow theme I would love to hear that ^^. But by far this is one of my most favorite themes in the DragonBall universe along with other themes but this one gives you that sense of feeling some and ready to kick some serious ass. Extremely powerful. Reading this when the crescendo at 3:15 begins. Contemplating your message, thinking about the underlying tones and messages both in reality and in the universe that inspired this track, really puts things into perspective and gives such a feeling of power and hope.
What I really like about these remakes is that you pay alot of respect to the original track(s).
Making it sound fresh/modern (with a new jacket), while keeping ALOT of nostalgia in it (paying respect to the original).
Plus I really love the flow into different soundtracks (like what you did in the Trunks theme and the Buu medley).
If there will be another dragonball (Z,Super or whatever) movie in the cinema, I would love to have these tracks in it 😂

I really love all of this music so much and it’s important to me that I do my best to respect it by getting the chords, tempos, soundscapes right or as close as possible. Then I try to give them some senzu beans and bring ‘em back to life for today ;) as for the flow I’m a real sucker for great transitions so creating the opportunity to do that with the different versions of the same theme is so fun and satisfying to me!
Scoring a new dragon ball movie would be an absolute dream!!

The one theme I think would be really cool is if you did Broly's Rage and Sorrow theme I would love to hear that ^^. But by far this is one of my most favorite themes in the DragonBall universe along with other themes but this one gives you that sense of feeling some and ready to kick some serious ass.
