- For those that enjoyed my remake of "Gohan Powers Up" by Julius Dobos, here is the track synced with the scene where Gohan powers up into his Ultimate/Mystic form. Please enjoy! (Sorry that the quality drops a bit in the 2nd half, couldn’t find a better version but it does the job 😅)

I always forget what a massive leap in power Gohan makes here. Goku had SSJ3 by this point and fought Buu firsthand, and was still VISIBLY shook.
Because Goku busts his ass to become as strong as he is and Gohan always finds a way to surpass that.
Dude's form was so good that he still held his own in TOP among god level beings.
I mean he's stronger than Goku here easily but lets not pretend that 90% of the Buu saga heroes would have that same reaction if Krillin powered up to Cell level suddenly.
that's because it's stronger than ssj3 and all it needed was 25 hours of a ritual to achieve 💀 meanwhile poor goku has to destroy his lungs to get ssj3 AND it's super tiring for him to stay in, even by the tournament of power

It was wild seeing a Saiyan without long hair being stronger than a SSJ3 at that time. Such an incredible scene with a memorable song.
Mystic is anamazing, base-looking power. Toriyama said the more base a form is, the more powerful in potential it has.
You didn't have to hit this so hard but we are all glad you did. This is awesome.

I definitely think gohan is main character worth, hes so relatable. Kind, caring, cares for his family, doesn't like fighting but will when push comes to shove, and he's a good example of don't judge a book by its cover that nice guy can break you apart if you threaten his family and home. He wants to do what he's passionate about which is being a scholar and doesn't like training but piccolos a great mentor and motivator for him. We all have our up days in the gym or something we do but we have our down ones too, only problem i had with Gohan's character was his cockiness like here and when he went ssj 2 against cell. TOP arc gohan and future gohan is peak versions of his character in my opinion though.
I never understood why the author do not see gohan as lead character. There are lots of characters who never wanted to fight but forced to get stronger in order to protect their love ones.

This gohan bullied super buu and goku was afraid of super buu. Goku was visibly shook at gohans power.
I've always loved this scene and Ultimate Gohan's theme. Pushed me through some hard times when I wanted to give up. Still does.

Ultimate Gohan will always be my favorite Gohan form.
It was my favorite form as well. I love beast. But honestly, I was always of the opinion that Gohan didn't need a new form. He just needs to continue to improve his ultimate form I would have been fine with that.
He will always be my favourite form of any Z fighter ever.
@derekosgood3230 should've gone the full Blanco, Ultimate but with the beast color scheme. Maybe make the bang bigger.

Gohan was the first Saiyan to evolve past a super Saiyan form. Gohans potential was recognized by Vegeta, beerus and whis as a fighter who could become a god of destruction.
Man! That rescore combined with Gohan's battle roar gave me absolute goosebumps!

Very impressive for sure! Faulconer Studios gave the best themes to Gohan, I think he had three prioritized to him that your remix here was included among. Vegeta and Piccolo each had their own couple, I think Goku mainly had his Spirit Bomb and Super Saiyan 3 themes.

My head cannon regarding Ultimate Gohan.
The reason the Super Saiyan transformation has golden hair is because their body is bleeding off a lot of energy. Even mastered Super Saiyan bleeds of energy (not nearly as much as unmastered)
Gohan was able to train his body to a point that it could handle the energy. His power up has nothing to do with his "new form"
It's the same old Super Saiyan form, just to the absolute pinacol of what it could be.
His power increased so much because his Ultimate form is 100% efficient and Old Kai unlocked every ounce of it.
The only thing that could've possibly made this better is if Gohan didn't fumble it at the end of the day.
True 😅 in my head canon for this video I like to think that in an alternate timeline, Gohan did succeed in defeating Buu :)

These were interesting little treats to sprinkle in, and DAMN this, Gladius, is what I mean by your stuff elevates and takes a lot from the original. Like, these songs in each scenario was just PERFECT. If I may, I'd like to ask for the next batch to be Goku and Vegeta's first transformations, and the Final Flash against Cell, since I think you have remixed every theme used. Sorry to just demand things, but like, DAMN, this was so good, and honestly it really helps me illustrate what I mean when I say that, because those three really felt like whole new scenes with a little more modern music scoring behind it.
I will say though that I certainly appreciate THIS SCENE, because while I think his behavior was a little out of character, and the transformation was a departure from the way we saw the Saiyans getting their transformations, I do really appreciate the love for this form because while it's basic looking, I feel it really drives home that this is Gohan's potential. It's not SSJ3, it's not fusion, it's every ounce of his potential squeezed into a single form, and man, the glee I felt seeing it again in DBS: Super Hero was so overwhelming, so thanks for showing this off, it feels like a gift to me, almost.

I really loved this little window in DBZ where power stopped being about the colour of your hair. They had a chance here to take power levels in an entirely new direction, but they opted for long blonde and blue hair. Oh well. We'll always have Mystic Gohan.

I like how the anime has this subtle comparison between Gohan going SSJ2 for Kibito vs this scene here.
When going SSJ2, while epic, he only shook the stadium
Whereas here, he shook if not accidentally damaged the entire field around him. Just a subtle hint of "look how much larger his power is, that even with his ki training, his power shook a much larger area".
True! And Goku was definitely impressed by his ultimate form, yet you never hear him say anything about his SSJ2 form after he shows it at the tournament.
Ok so he told Gohan to become a Super Saiyan. A SUPER SAIYAN! Gohan raised his base power but never became a Super Saiyan!
When he goes Beast, that's him finally going SSJ in his Ultimate Form! Gohan was trained by a Shin!

I for one liked the original song that played when Gohan was staring at his hands as the energy radiated from him. It added a daunting sense of awe to the moment. Editing that out dulls the mystifying impact of the scene. Thumbs down.
