    auto rev match is better for lap times you can focus more on precision braking and downshifting + computer rev match is always perfect :)

    That felt weird to watch , because I'm so use to heel and toe when I do canyon runs in my 04 AP2. So watching the auto rev made me felt kind of quirky lol, but cool feature, I just don't think I my foot couldnt bleep the gas lol.

    WoW!!! Nice Heel & Toe mate, you´ve got the talent ;) And amazing drive on the ring too, that racing line, braking point, turn in, etc. Good. You´ve really got a lot of skills :) Keep it up ;) And what are you saying on the FK8? Is it the best FWD in the World?? Better than Legendary DC2, or EK9 which had the great driving characteristics, like Lift off Oversteer and stuff like that you know :) Tell me your opinion :)

      Thanks! The FK8 is definitely Honda's best handling Type-R, perhaps even the world. Also the most mature at the moment, which felt like its lost the hot hatch / type r madness. FD2R still remains as the best all mechanical type r. The FK8R has gone bionic

      Thanks, basically trying to say it's easier to make mistakes, or feel the effects of over driving in the FD2R than in the more forgiving, more able FK8R

      @@zerotohundred yea. Feel the effects of over driving. I'm not sure what's the limit of it but on public road I cant do that. Guess gotta see when will have chance to have a try at track. If your are going to EE then is a good time to ask for more tips from u. Haha. Seen ur video in fd2r. First is to upgrade my skill and drive the car more. Haha

    Can you include a G meter in your videos, it does not have to be the most accurate but it would be cool to see those smooth shifts in the G meter

    Don't know if it just me, but I the pedal placement is so uncomfortable for heel and toe in this car. 8th gen was no problem. Not that it matters because of auto rev match but still

    Does the Type R have a lot of clutch travel? Or is it quite short?

      Adi Jo heel and toe benefits your downshifting giving you a smooth transaction,and it’s easier on the transmission synchros for older cars

      heyaheyaheya it’s not necessary for new cars unless you’re tracking it,on the track you want know how to heel n toe to keep those rpm’s up,it takes some skill but you get used to it eventually

      @@zerotohundred do we really need to adjust the stock pedal heights in order to make it ideal for hell and toe? if yes, how? if no, how can we improve H&T skill from day to day basis? Genting run often like 0-100th? LOL!

      Yann Hwa Tan just practice day by day. And step by step slowly. Eventually you’ll find the balance between the brake and gas pedal so you won’t stall while heel to toe.
      I have stage 3 clutch in my DC5, I learned it in 3 days & fully able to make it second nature after a month 👍🏽👍🏽

      @@tanyannhwa4831 really not needed at all in most cases, unless it is really impossible, very old cars or certain adjustable racecar pedal box.
      Try watching our other H&T videos, perhaps the TGR Vios Footcam might enlighten you further on the different feet gestures you can experiment with. Last but not least, keep practising and strive for perfection 👍

    No doubt auto rev match does it more precise than 99.999% drivers, but heel-toe is fun, even when u mess it up.

    man that engine just doesnt sound liek it likes to rev, rather have an NA high revving engine with dual vtec. I had a 2019 mustang gt manual with rev match. It was amazing and always perfect would even hold the gear and decelerate the engine as the speed was reduced. Even held the Rpm on upshift perfectly for lazy shifting and super smooth. I could shift to 3rd take 2 seconds and just dump the clutch felt like i never changed gears

      Good point, but for what's worth, apart from freeing one from H&T, the ARM has its advantages in increased braking efficiency, even opening up other possibilities once only reserved for modern sequential or dct transmissions

    I think auto revmatching is a big yes yes cuz although all of us can rev match brake ourselves but havent we realise the problem you have to brake hard and at speed most of time and you are not giving full attention anddelicate control to the braking if the surface is loose locking up the wheel is a ngihtmare(can cause spin out) so i think auto revmatch is a must.Theres gonna be someone who cant accept the fact but hey i still heel toe myself and realising the problem with it.
