One of two terrible things would happen if you had it in a pack with you or if it was a very hot climate. And the second and more common if a bit less fun would be the meal itself expanding in its packaging, but the difference from the first explosive one would still be edible. The expansion in the second would be the gasses in the pack from the omelet spoiling (it was obvious too the omelet took on a green/orange hue). Thank you Steve for these videos I really do enjoy seeing what fueled the soldiers from other countries, and the past Canadian/Americans as well.

Might as well just get rid of the military spending and let the USA assume full time babysitting duty since that's who we rely on for defence anyway. Let's be honest. Our forces would do nothing against China or Russia if push came to shove. CF can't even hold members. Turnover rate is at an all time high. Nobody wants to bother what with every action being scrutinized for "political correctness" and no money for anything but presumably turkey dinners. A joke, through and through.

The beverage bags are great. I was skeptical of how stable they'd be but they're made of a really thick and durable plastic so they can stand up well even on somewhat uneven ground. Even better if you have a Rock or Something™ to lean it up against. One of the better designs and reusable in an emergency situation. Because of the seal you could probably even have it submerged for short periods such as wading across a river without risking contamination (though you'd need to wash off the outside).

You sound genuinely happy. Its nice to have you back
I like how you described the smell as purple and I knew exactly what that smells like.
Awesome vid Steve, really enjoyed it as usual. Best UA-camr period.

Gotta love the purple drink🤦🏻♂️😂 great to see another video Steve!

I have no experience with anything military... but I am OBSESSED with Steve's videos.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian Armed Forces who might be currently eating this very meal. We are thankful for your service.
They will get a turkey dinner today or tomorrow. They will not be eating something like this.
@@margaretmacgillicuddy4944 I'm so happy to hear this!
@@brendawhitehead7575 Canadian soldiers are truly treated well for food and rations. We are known as the best fed forces in the world. Canadian holidays are always observed and special measures are taken to give comfort food to deployed troops. We would always tease the UK 🇬🇧 deployed troops when they commented about our special treats, we would say “I guess the Queen, now King Charles loves us best “
@@margaretmacgillicuddy4944 You are absolutely NOT known as the "best fed forces in the world". Do Canadians really tell themselves this? Delusional lmao
@@margaretmacgillicuddy4944It's easy to afford such comforts when your military is as weak and pitiful as ours. Glad they all get turkey dinners - can we splurge a little and get the lads some new guns and vehicles maybe? You know, the main point of having an army? Being able to defend anything? Might as well just get rid of the military spending and let the USA assume full time babysitting duty since that's who we rely on for defence anyway. Let's be honest. Our forces would do nothing against China or Russia if push came to shove.
CF can't even hold members. Turnover rate is at an all time high. Nobody wants to bother what with every action being scrutinized for "political correctness" and no money for anything but presumably turkey dinners. A joke, through and through.
Finally something good to learn and fall asleep to. Townsends and Steve1989 are UA-cam gold 💪
“All the flavor that one could ever… savor.” That put a smile on my face immediately
Oh this part of the video is precious. I watched it over and over. I could. I should go back and watch it again. He's awesome! ...All that you could ever savor.... that little bit makes Steve so happy, it's a beautiful thing 🤩😄. 11:00 So good, I like cornbread a lot too... But this 😊
Glad you're still uploading! Love these videos
Nice!
Two new rations on Saturday night, nice!
nice!
I know I can’t be the only one who watches his videos while they eat
This dude is a legend, and a historian in a sense.
You’re my go to whenever I’m having a bad day or feeling anxious. Idk why. It’s just calming and fun.
How dare they infringe upon my freedom to eat a compressed napkin. I will eat that napkin, they cannot take my right away from me.
What i really love and gets me in the mood is the trippy music Steve allways got on ... Nice
I love Canadian mres. Thanks Steve glad to see more content.
The sounds of your videos are so comforting. Always happy to see a new one. Keep up the fantastic work
The Canadian MRE's are always my favorite reviews to watch. The menu verity and quality always looks great. It makes me want to get one myself. Want to try out that beverage bag. Canadian Pizza Pasta vid some day I hope!
Thank you for the video Steve! Always a pleasure to hear your voice.
