Never think about changing the name. Came across several videos of my dog Bella that I lost three years ago and it felt so weird to see her and listen to her. My dog was my child before I had a son it felt like and losing her was a pretty shitty thing but it happens.

Best lights I've had are the Sofirn IF25 and IF25a. The IF25 has color temp ramping from 2700k to 6500k, the IF25a has a choice of Anduril 1 or 2 and a color temp choice of 5000k or 6500k. Quite compact yet goes from moonlight mode to blinding turbo (legit 2500-3900 lumens) and disorienting pulsating tactical flash. One 21700 cell yet just a hair over 4" long. Crazy long battery life in the lower modes.

Part of my edc is a Streamlight Wedge. It's roughly the size of a small OTF pocket knife and has a rechargeable battery built-in, which comes with a usb-c connection for recharging. The light is waterproof and has an aproximate battry life of about 300 hrs. on the lower settting. I believe it has two output settings, about 300/1500 lumens controlled by a rocker switch on the side.

Americans have different knife laws per state. You'd be surprised. Here in Canada we can have any length knife as long as you have a purpose for it. Like a belt carry bowie knife in the countryside is ok but in an office you couldn't carry one. I carry a Gerber LMF II partially serrated and a Schrade SCAX in my emergency get home bag. I travel by subway so the insulated Gerber handle with serrations to cut different materials in a city environment is better for me. But in the end it's left to the choice of the police no matter what you carry. Also no switch blades or gravity blades etc.

It allows you to be able to use both hands while you work. My favorite headlamp is the Petzl Swift RL it is a rechargeable headlamp that has adaptive lighting so your not always blinding yourself. It also has 900 peak lumens so it will LIGHT IT UP. If mine broke I would immediately buy another on. It's that good. Anyways love the channel, keep it up!

Nitecore lights have been stable for me. I have a single 18650 Nitecore flashlight I've been using since 2019. It's been more reliable than the over-hyped Zebralight and much cheaper than other brands that I didn't mind being a little rough when using it. Its last charge was over a year ago, I then gifted it to someone who has been using it as a night stand light for around an hour to 3 hours a night on low for the last 5 months or so, it's still working on that single charge.

I usually don’t leave comments on videos these days, but I wanted to make a recommendation for the BLF A6 flashlight. It has a great and idiotproof UI, works with both 18350 and 18650 batteries, and comes in various tints to suit your preferences. The A6 with the 18350 battery tube is my go to EDC flashlight when I know I’m going to be outside/away from my usual bag of goodies. It’s also really well priced. Probably the only disadvantage, if it is one, is that it’s mostly only available from import sites like AliExpress and Banggood.

"licenses" from the government to carry a tool? We pussies in the West are in process of getting what we deserve. • @edsaunders1897
      @edsaunders1897 3 роки тому +3

Lots of tools are licenced. It's a good way to make sure people are capable of using them properly. The government could just as easily ban them - that's certainly happened in enough countries. I'd rather get a licence than have them outright banned. And the current middle ground of having them kinda legal but at somebodies discretion isn't great. Most cops in Australia are good blokes, but you could get unlucky and come across the odd bad one.

What an interesting video! Certainly a "peek behind the Oodie." Well... not literally, that would get you demonetized.
I personally don't try to rationalize my grief or sorrow by claiming that there are worse problems. The thought inevitably pops up that: there are worse horrors. But for me personally, it feels unfair to myself, and when you lose someone you care about (pet or person) it feels unfair to them too. Cedric's passing is sad. It will always be sad. But his life was happy! And that will always be happy! I find that as people move forward, further away from the immediate loss, they begin to squeeze it all into a singular feeling of "Melancholic Happiness." A longing for their company, but the joy of having shared their company for when you did. And I think that's healthy! Being sad is okay. It's okay to be "not okay." The important part is that you're still appreciated for your company *now.* It's important that no one is asking you or someone else to AVOID these feelings. That you're still welcome at the dinner table and join in, even if you're not having a great day.

Regarding monitization, I think it has more to do with selling ad space to sponsors. People running adds have requirements for where their ads can be run. It’s all about selling ad space. If your content can’t be fit into a cookie cutter that companies are ok seeing their ads on then google can’t put ads on your channel and follow their agreements with the people they sold ad space to.

Emisar flashlights, specifically the D4v2 in titanium... Ive dropped it going 40 on my motorcycle and all it suffered was a couple scratches and a bent bezel which i was able to replace

Lookup for astrolux and sofirn brand, its really cheap but output bright as olight.. for edc the astrolux ea01 xhp50 is really a tiny monster for only $40 in banggood.. got a great balance between throw and flood..

Do yourself a favor and buy a Zebralight. All of them are good, but I recommend the SC64w HI. It’s one of the smallest 18650 lights, 200m throw, plenty bright. And built like a tank, yet small and light. Advanced Knife Bro has some great reviews of some Zebralights.

Sofirn is a good brand with a great range of lights for all needs. Bought a few C8+ in different colors for fun, real good throwers. Sofirn sp33 is what id recommend for the Chickens sleepy time.

Regarding flashlights; Its not you! I have gone through all the brands you mention and several more.
Any superbright LED is going to cook itself or the power control circuit over time -- but golly they are fun!!!
The moderately illuminative Maglite works until the old style element burns out or the old style battery destroys it from the inside. The few still remaining are too bulky for the output emitted.
So far my few Fenix brand lights still function after a handful of years with a quality rechargeable AA battery.
Every Streamlight I have bought from the teeny one on my keychain on up to the KnucklHead model continues to function after 8 to 10 years depending on when I bought them. The KnuckleHead seems to be bullet-proof and runs on 4 AAs -- mine is the floodlight model. Not only water proof but safe in explosive environments -- comes with a robust magnet on the side and a head that swivels every which way.

concerning your search for a EDC torch that is in between your tiny torch keyring and your burn out the eyes of large mammals torch, I would suggest a Byblight. its 20 bucks with 800 lumens with 4 different brightness settings and a rechargeable battery by usb plug

Energizer er300 flashlight is cheap and cheerful and lasts pretty well unless you run it over with a vehicle.

I carried ether an Olight M2R Warrior Pro or the Ti Mini Warrior. They are amazing lights and I love them but the Ti Mini Warrior Pocket clip is stupid don’t know why a large knife needs an “s” clip, and M2R Pro is good but large. I switched to carrying my Fenix PD35 Tac “American Flag”. I’m really loving the simplicity, clip on and off and if you want you can change the mode. I would say 8/10 would recommend.

You should check out the Olight Seeker 2 Pro. I love it for around the house. It's a bit big for EDC but it has lots of throw in a pocketable size. You can get it with a magnetic charging mount that you can attach to the wall and it will always be charged.

Interesting take on olight. I've owned about 5 olights and have never had any problems. I've hard used an srII baton for four years. I guess I've been lucky.
