Where in scripture is there a "Holy Mother"? There is ONLY: God (the Soul), Christ (physical manifestation of God), and the Holy Spirit of God. Just the Godhead and NOTHING ELSE.
If you are not reading Christ's Word - in the King James Bible - then you are lost.
I rejected my Orthodox faith, having done so in March 2020, recognizing then that it was merely an off-shoot of the satanic Roman Catholic faith, which is sending all its followers to Hell with false doctrine.

@@Pik180 the problem is I am 15 and I don't want to waste years of my life being an unsignificant soldier, I don't want to fight
Given our wretched spiritual state, it may need to happen, both as an undoubted testiment to the authority of God in history, His Saints, and as a way for the Gospel witness to be pure and Orthodox. The Great Commission still has a ways to go, and without the spread of the Gospel in unadulterated Eastern Orthodox fashion, history and time in general are completely useless. Orthodoxy needs to "infect" the world
A@@Massimo2.0-zj1qy as long as you are alive God the creator, the Father of Jesus Christ, has a plan for your life. The Eternal One knew you before He gave life to you. The opportunities to live a peaceful life are inexhaustible. After all, someone needs to feed and clothe those vast hosts of soldiers. And among them, there will always be victorious Orthodox soldiers and protectors.

By any chance, can we see those prophecies for ourselves anywhere, to read and check?
رجعه بنعمة ربنا يسوع المسيح.
The fulfillment of the OT prophecies is Christ. Our life should be focused on "being with Christ" and preparing to see Him at the Last Judgment. The "end of the world" is our own death. 👀
Thank you for the positive replies, not that I’m looking for kudos, but good to know there are kindred spirits. I think we (especially Orthodox Christians) need to stay, like the saints, above the fray. Not disinterested in the political and other forces swirling around us, but not consumed by them or putting our trust “in princes, in sons of men”. We need to persevere to the end, to care for others, to cherish the good familiar (our own neighborhood so to speak), to walk softly in this earth, and pray our hearts out. Those who persevere to the end will be saved, right?
God, in his mercy and love to all mankind, is sending messages both catholics and orthdox faithful people. Let not the world take the truth from us, and let Him change us for the coming times.
What messages are you referring to in Catholicism?
The floating of the 3.5 yearxalf is it Bibical?.
@starburstsolaris6805 - What you meant to ask was, "is the floating of the 3.5 year old calf scriptural"?
Then, if the response was "yes", ask, "please provide chapter and verse".
I doubt very much that it is in scripture.
And, BTW, I would have thought that a 3.5 year old "calf" by that time would be either a fully grown cow (or bull).
As a baptised Turkish Orthodox Christian who is the catechist of the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in Turkey, I advise you not to promote such things. Because our nation is still not completely free from the idea of "Christians are the enemies of our country" (and this kind of videos confirming it) and the very first thing they ask us in our missionary activities is "If I become Orthodox, can I still love my country?". Thank God that many people have been baptised and we have many catechumens, and we have been able to achieve this thanks to the promotion of Turkish national identity and love for the motherland. Please do not undermine this, you are not helping anyone, you are only making our work harder. I hope I have made myself clear.
Is Christianity growing in Turkey? I've seen statistics that indicate that Christianity is declining there. I know statistics can't always be accurate as census in Muslim majority countries tend to classify all people with Muslim backgrounds as Muslims.
@@Darkside-tr3sx Yes, Christianity is spreading among the Turks. But since there is no reason for converts to report this to the authorities, it is not recorded in the statistics.
These are the words of God’s Saints and the truth will continue to be promoted. Being an honest Christian is more important than supporting an anti-Christian country like Turkey, with a horribly anti-Christian history. Ultimately, the prophecies of God’s Saints will come true and be proven right.
@@ronaldl9989 Wherever and whenever in the world, Christians have always been persecuted. Were Christians eagerly awaiting the fall of Rome in response to the persecution of Christians by the pagan empire? No, on the contrary, they prayed for their persecutors and wished for the salvation of the whole of Rome, and they continued to serve in the army and in the state. And thanks to their prayers, Rome was baptised.
Not only the Rome, but also so-called Christian states or states with a Christian background persecuted Christians. Iconoclast Byzantium or Soviet Russia are examples. But again, the people did not wish for the destruction of their homeland, but for its salvation, and this is the most Christ-like thing of all. Because, as St Paul says, "God has established every government on earth."
In addition, Orthodoxy does not believe in fate and the prophecies of the saints do not have to be fulfilled deterministically. For example, St. John of Kronstadt, in his prophecies about Soviet Russia, explained that if the Russian people repented and turned to God, this would not be the case.
Now I ask you, would Christ, who loves sinners, prefer the destruction of Turkey or the salvation of her and her people? As a man who has given his years to this ministry, I say that these words of the saints are not false, but it is wrong to speak them loudly and with a desire for revenge. For it prevents the salvation of many. What is the benefit of loudly proclaiming the belief that Turkey will perish, other than to flatter the pride of nations that have historical problems with Turkey? What kind of Turk can accept the "good news" that his home and neighbours will perish? What is it if not true Christian behaviour to warm people's hearts to Christ and thereby to wish for their salvation and the salvation of their country?

The Church did not, though some of its bishops may have. Many holy people said the opposite, to avoid it. In the Orthodox Church we are to follow the saints and not blindly follow priests and bishops without regard to what the saints have taught.
@@OrthodoxEthos Amen.
I have a question. On another orthodox channel I said that the orthodox laity is not submitted to the clergy the way the Roman Catholics are. I gave the example that we participate to the ordinations of our priests, bishops etc. by chanting Axios! during the liturgy. I was rebuked by a monk/priest who warned me that it was not a public acclamation and if someone dares to say Anaxios! he would likely be thrown out of the church and face consequences.
So I asked (but had no answer) if it was compelled speech. I also asked if is was not a sin to say a lie since you say he's worthy when you think that he's a wolf in sheep clothing.
And also I asked whether the orthodox were inside or outside of the building when the crowd was banding at the doors of Agia Sophia shouting "Better the Turkish Turban than the Papal Tiara" while the emperor, the patriarch and Bessarion were celebrating in communion with the pope and professing the filioque inside the basilica. There were times indeed when orthodoxy was thrown out for being scandalous in appearance.
So what do you think? Are we allowed to shout anaxios! if we think the sheep is indeed a wolf?
And May God have mercy for the Greek Synod who publicly called everyone to get the pharmakon.
Hmm. You hear something ten thousand times and suddenly you realize something.
Eve's seed is referring to Christ, The Son of God. But who is the serpent's seed? I've never heard teaching on that.
See the lecture on this channel on THE EXPECTATION OF THE NATIONS.
St Justin Popovic is our, Serbian saint and one of the biggest Serbian elders from XXth century. Prophecies are made not only by him, but by our elder Tadej, St Archbishop Nikolaj Velimirovic, beside St Paisios the Agiorite, St Ephraim of Philotheou and other Greek saints. And Russian ones as well, such as St Seraphim of Sarov... Other Orthodox Churches have their prophets ( Georgia, Romania etc.)...And they are all very synchronized...speaking about the liberation of Constantinople and the arrival of the Russian Tzar, together with the rising of new Slavic Orthodox Christian Empire, after these WW3 events...
Center of Devine prophecy is Jerusalem not Greece or constantinoupolis
Revelation 11:8
The Theotokos has appeared and delivered what is now fulfilled prophecy to Catholics. It's almost like Heaven is trying to warn everyone or something?
I would be careful listening to matters of private Revelation and devotionalism within Catholicism, even their own catechism clearly states that even upon being found worthy of belief such matters in no way have any impact on matters of salvation. When I was in Catholicism I was very much into things like this but now I just look at it as back pocket minutiae. Even the demonic powers have foresight into what may occur in the future
@@TranslatedAssumption I don't give private revelation much weight in my day to day approach to faith. I just thought it interesting that there is not a small amount of alleged private revelation in both Eastern Orthodoxy and Catholicism that seem to be corroborating the same events.
🥱

This seems like Baptist Orthodoxy tbh but I’ll try to keep an open mind
I was raised Baptist as a child. It's a nice epithet, but it betrays a lack of familiarity with one or both of the terms.
@@bsdnfrajeWhat I mean by this is that this seems to be some orthodox way of trying to interpret current events as end times signs when that’s not really something we should be doing as Christians and that’s not how the book of Revelation especially is interpreted by the church. It’s not a linear list of events leading to Christ’s return. This is a mistake evangelicals, especially baptists make

@@Smh1054 So you're unfamiliar with Baptists and it was just a handy slur? That doesn't strike me as solid Orthodoxy either.
If you watch the full interview, the focus is on the prophecies of Orthodox saints who reposed decades and centuries ago. Many such prophecies have been fulfilled and some have not. They have been given so that we will understand the signs of the times as they are fulfilled, but it is true that we shouldn’t become obsessed and should avoid the temptation to speculate. If we live every day preparing for death and the Final Judgment, then we will be fully prepared for whatever may come.
I gave up believing in these prophecies a long time ago. I mean those prophecies which are interpreted related to certain events, certain wars. They seem more like the creation of some people to show their desires related to their nation (like Russia becomming the 3rd Rome or Constantinople being freed from the Turks). I see them like prophecies from Nostradamus. People see in these what they want to see.

Alex Jones, the Sandy Hook denier ??? Unsubscribbing
Consider: Acts 17:
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens…”
Who are we speaking with? Or to? Souls… We were speaking to the 130 thousand people live on Twitter.
And 100s of thousands more on the other platforms and through social media.
I deny Sandy Hook. Alex Jones, however, has shown himself to be a Stratfor intelligence asset, he has many times provoked fear unnecessarily such as his Y2K shows (admittedly a long time ago) Alex has regularly provided truthful information and then he acts in a way that creates humiliation associated with the ideas. This is a technique where a propagandist will pretend to be his enemy and then he will embarrass himself so to discredit his enemy. Alex is controlled opposition. Like Tucker Carlson. And many other antichrist helpers.
Without saying anything about Alex Jones, Fr. Heers and the channel are not responsible for whatever he said, since mere association is no offense. Furthermore, it was not Alex Jones who conducted the interview but Maria Zee, as a guest host. Even Christ sat on the same table as sinners and tax-collectors (Matthew 9:10).
See you later alligator 🐊
That is quite reactionary and unwise.
First ask:
Was the interview done by Alex Jones? No.
Was it done by an Orthodox Christian? Yes.
Was the message of the Orthodoxy at all altered or infringed upon? No.
Is your reason a good reason to deny speaking on a major platform to share the Faith? Did St. Paul no speak on Mar’s Hill?
Examine the CONTENT of the video. Don’t shoot he messenger, or , in this case, reject the messenger and message because of the platform upon which he stands giving it.
on another note Constantinople will be liberated by a non Christian army and Hagia Sophia will be returnd to the Orthodox Christian world to mence what the first ISIS (mercenaries paid by the vatican also known as the ottoman) did 500 years ago.
Keep dreaming. If there was no Ottoman Empire all the Greeks today would be Catholic not Orthodox. It is rightfully conquered like any other empire and you will respect it.
