Made this tonight. Took a little longer than 15 min to get to 145 deg F., but it was good and tender. Roasted some potato wedges with onions and cherry tomatoes.

I followed your recipe precisely last evening, and must admit that it turned out absolutely delicious and was the most tender pork tenderloin I’ve ever made. There was no need for a knife at the table as each portion was truly fork tender, and just as juicy as previous meals when I brined the meat. Kudos! I have 3 more in the freezer and my wife asked when will I cook this again! 😄

Are you freakin kidding me?!? That seasoning was out of this world! Absolutely amazing! Thought I would change up our usual salt, pepper and oil routine and found your vid and followed the directions. Was also first time using cast iron skillet. Pretty sure this will be our go to tenderloin cook for quite a while . Liked and subbed thank you

I made this tonight for dinner and my husband as well as me just loved it ! I put new potatoes in with the pork and cooked them together. The seasonings from the pork transferred to the potatoes. They were scrumptious ! I WILL be making this again. As a matter of fact, I might make up a bunch of the rub, stick it in a bottle and mark it “meat seasoning”. It would be good on beef and chicken I think ! My husband agreed and he’s a hard sell !

Thank you so much for sharing your delightful feedback on the recipe! I'm thrilled to hear that both you and your husband thoroughly enjoyed the dish. It's wonderful to know that the addition of new potatoes cooked alongside the pork allowed the fantastic flavors to mingle and created a truly scrumptious experience.
Your idea of making a batch of the rub and labeling it as "meat seasoning" is absolutely brilliant! Having a versatile blend like that on hand can add an extra punch of flavor to various dishes, including beef and chicken. I'm glad your husband, who's known to be a tough critic, agreed with the notion. It's a testament to the deliciousness of your creation!
Your enthusiasm for making this recipe again brings a smile to my face. It's always heartwarming to know that a dish resonates so well with someone that they're eager to recreate it. I hope this meal continues to bring joy and satisfaction to your future dinners.
Thank you once again for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment. Your kind words and feedback mean a lot to me, and they inspire me to keep sharing delicious recipes. If you have any more culinary adventures or recipe suggestions, feel free to share them. Wishing you and your husband many more delectable meals together!

@@KelvinsKitchen Hi ! Thanks for your great reply ! A recipe I’d like to share is one my mother found in a magazine about 50 years ago. Do you ever use Tarragon ? This recipe I’m sharing with you is a liquid marinade for beef, chicken or pork. I use it on all of them. I make up a big batch of it and freeze it. Then thaw it out, I get a meat, and marinate for at least 4 hours - over night is better. It goes as follows:
      ½ cup Salad Oil
      ¼ cup catsup
      ½ tsp salt
2 tablespoons of Tarragon vinegar (I have dried tarragon leaves I use too)
      Dash pepper
      1 clove garlic sliced
Cook in a pan on the stovetop till it boils.
My mother used to marinate the meat and put them on skewers with new potatoes, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc. She called them “Beef Kabobs”. I haven’t made them in the form of kabobs. I just air fry them after they marinate. Tell me what you think. The smell of the marinade cooking on the stovetop is amazing. If you like it, let me know. I’ll know you REALLY like it if you make a video of it. Help yourself ! Enjoy !

Love pork tenderloin! Such an easy cheap piece of meat to cook and is sooo tender and delicious once you get the temperature and timing right. It's easy to overcook it, but once you get it right, it'll come out perfect every time! Sometimes i'll roast potatoes in the same pan, so they soak up some of the flavor of the pork

Can I directly put it into oven? Without frying it on the pan

    • @KelvinsKitchen
      @KelvinsKitchen  Рік тому +1

Absolutely! You can definitely skip the step of browning the pork tenderloin on the pan and directly roast it in the oven. Just make sure to follow the seasoning instructions and preheat the oven to 400˚F with the rack in the middle. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, and roast it for about 20-25 minutes, or until the center of the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 145˚F.
Roasting the pork tenderloin in the oven will still result in a deliciously flavorful and tender dish. Feel free to adjust the cooking time based on the size of the tenderloin and your desired level of doneness. Once it's done, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into rings and serving.
Enjoy your Roasted Pork Tenderloin straight from the oven!
