I can promise you that Harris and Lewis are well worth a visit. It's a photographers dream, with it's ever changing light and a sense of space that's almost otherworldly. It's one of the few places where you can photograph pre history, walk for miles without meeting another person, and in summer still hear the call of a corncrake. And then there's the sea ..... sometimes silver and still and at other times furious and primordial.
It's a must! One day...! :) thanks for the wonderfully evocative description :)
